Silverwood Dog Park
Great place for a fun walk. Gets windy at times but great view of the river. The pathway is paved and clean, standard width so bikers usually go around.Great view of the new North Commuter bridge being built. Not a very busy dog area compared to others in the city which is nice but the pups don’t get as tired.The park area is well kept and clean, not much for tall grass. The dogs here are often still on leashes so I do not think it is a real off leash area, just a nice stroll with your pup. Great sunrises if you are up that early as it faces east.

Silverwood Dog Park
A dog walk with views. The dogs we met were friendly. A bit hard to find. When google said we had driven up, there were no clear signs, just business parking lots. After walking down the one path not heading to a business, it became clear we had found the right entrance, but a sign at the start would be helpful. Lots of forest trails down to river , that would be nice to explore in summer.

It was covered in snow and cold when I went do hard to review, we'll go back and check it out this spring though, nice view.

Silverwood Dog Park
I like the openness of this park, however if your dog needs a fenced in are or doesn't have good recall, this isn't the park for you! You could lose your dog quickly in the bush by the river if they are the excitable type. Also note this trail is popular with bikers and runners!

Perfect little park with a nice mix including dense woods, open field and water access with beaches. Fairly popular so lots of dogs to play with.It's a shame the city feels the need to gate it off.

Silverwood Dog Park
It's a nice park and you can go down to the river, but the bike path that goes through is very busy with bikes and skateboards. I wouldn't even call it a dog park, but a shared space where dogs can be offleash. It's not fully fenced but open on all sides with some fences here and there. I have had good experiences but the bikes make me leery anyways.
