Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Barrie

It is part of Hilton brand, so it does meet expectation in terms of being clean etc. However, the walls are probably made with sound amplifying material... I was on the phone with wife and she can hear exact words of my neighbor's conversation... So not great for light sleepers or if you are travelling with kids. Front desk staff are there to do their job instead of making visitors feel warm and fuzzy.

Customer service was top notch. Room is clean. The only thing that I didn't get accommodated was medicine. We asked front desk for a bill of Tylenol but they don't have one but instead you will have to buy a box for overpriced. Otherwise, everything was great!

Recognized globally as a top-tier luxury hotel, the expectations for exceptional customer service are understandably high. Unfortunately, my interactions with them have been far from luxurious or efficient.Trying to get in touch with Hilton has been nothing short of a nightmare. For a hotel that prides itself on luxury and top-notch service, the quality of their phone support is an unfortunate contradiction. The numerous instances of dropped calls and being abruptly cut off mid-conversation were not just inconvenient, but also downright disrespectful.Each attempt at reaching out to them was met with either an abrupt hang-up or the frustrating notification that the hotel's mailbox was full. It's ironic that while they aspire to provide an exquisite and seamless stay, getting basic assistance or having a simple query answered is an ordeal.Moreover, considering the premium prices Hilton commands, such experiences are all the more unacceptable. While I am willing to pay for quality service, it's a fundamental expectation that the customer service reflects the same standards and attention to detail that the Hilton brand claims to embody.The Hilton's reputation as a luxury establishment is not reflected in their subpar customer service. The lack of communication and disregard for maintaining efficient lines of contact are disappointing. The overall experience has been a significant letdown and does not align with the high standards one would expect from a globally recognized brand.It's important to note that an excellent hospitality brand is not only about beautiful interiors, extravagant amenities, or an exotic menu, it's primarily about impeccable service and smooth communication – something Hilton needs to improve urgently.Until then, I would advise potential patrons to consider these factors seriously before committing to a stay at the Hilton. At the end of the day, the overall experience should be worth the price, and unfortunately, in my experience, Hilton is currently falling short in providing that.

Hotel was fine. They’re liars though. I called to make sure their hot tub was working, and the girl I spoke to said it was. So I booked. Then the girl when I got there said “why are you staying here today” and I said “after calling 2 other hotels, you were the only one with a working hot tub” and she said “yes, and it’s recently renovated!” … but guess what was not working? The hot tub. I would not have booked here if I had known and am super disappointed not only 1 but 2 employees lied to me. Will not return.

Nice hotel, practical location close to the highway, front desk people friendly and helpful, but when I'm told a price, stay true to your quote and don't charge me more just because you have my credit card number. Definitely not the first time this has happened with this hotel chain. There's many other hotels out there, I won't be using Hilton hotels anymore.

Best hotel in Barrie.Clean enough to appease my mother's high standards (trust me)Service was super friendly. The maintenance gentleman with the long hair was super friendly and patient with my neices interest in his job. When she bumped her head he went to get ice and was very sweet. There are good people in the world. Give this man a raise and make him feel as valued as we did.Breakfast was fantastic.

Spent three nights over Easter weekend with my family. There were several hockey teams in for a tournament and despite that craziness ...the staff were awesome. So refreshing to be treated like a guest and not an inconvenience. Room was very large and clean ...bathroom was a little dated but did the trick. Facilities were clean and accessible given the tournament. Breakfast was as expected....ladies did amazing keeping up with all our hungry appetites. Michelle in housekeeping was absolutely amazing. Above and beyond! Location worked perfect for us.....able to easily access what we needed. Would stay again.

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay here! The room was great, no complaints. All the staff was super polite and nice. The whole hotel was kept clean, including the pool and gym. The breakfast food was fantastic and it was very central. 5/5 recommend and will definitely be back!

This is a decent hotel. The facility is clean and upkept for the most part. The staff encountered was courteous. A few minor tweaks and this could be a top property.

We had a great time here. We got a great view of beautiful trees. I loved that.The back basement parking was ok but the door lock didn’t work several times so we had to give up on that.
