AV Fishing Tackle

I would like to make a comment about the male that provided great customer service.I was heading out early morning on the Saturday of the long weekend and stopped off to purchase bait. The gentleman that assisted me was very helpful and courteous. Unfortunately after I paid for my bait, as I was leaving the store did not realize that my wallet had fallen out in the parking lot. This wasn’t noticed until about an hour later. When I had called the store after re-tracing my steps as to where the wallet would be, they assured me that they found my wallet.I am very grateful and appreciative that this gentleman was honest and kind enough to have found my wallet and returned it to me.Thank You.

Greatest of the local shops. Good pricing and they got everything you need. The guy is great and has lots of information the mom can't speak English that well but they are friendly and help as much as they can. Prices and selection can't be beat.

Their live bait, worms are a good deal. 24 for $5.65 including tax. Saw a lot of fishing accessories but i am already well equipped. If only the lady inside smiled or tried to be friendly, I will give this place 5 stars.

I went there to buy minnows and the lady was very rude. I asked to buy 1 dozen minnows and she said what size you want, i said medium please and asked to see how big the small ones are. She then said in a demanding voice you cant see them listen to me SMALL AND MEDIUM. Dont know why she wont let you see the sizes of minows. I will no longer be a customer at av tackle. I would spend close to $100 every time i go there on baits and tackle but after this experience i will be spending my money at Sib Sports much better customer service.

Great place for quick and friendly service with respects to fishing needs. Bass , Steelhead ,Pan Fish and ice fishing is the primary inventory. Live bait with minnow tanks worms roe etc......... not a big shop so don't expect large amounts of products. Great selection of rods and reels . From beginners to the big sharks. Extremely friendly with great service. Been going here for 20+ years . Remember support local business people .

Nice staff specially the lady (owner), very helpful. Only tackle shop you can get leeches during month of May. Good prices, free parking and wheelchair accessible. Along Sheppard Ave. E between Markham Rd and McCowan Ave. (by Tim Horton's plaza). Recommended!

Very sweet and nice people. They knew exactly what I was looking for when they asked me what I was targeting and which method by choice and made suggestions that I didn't even know about. Would highly recommend.Live tackle here is extremely cheap

Great selection, helpful staff, good pricing on most items. A lot of people complain about the lady that works here and I'd like to clarify. She's actually super nice, maybe your standofish? She's my friends and I lots of times and was super nice. They got robbed a few times so don't be surprised that they have security.Prices are comparable to Canadian Tire and other tackle shops so this place has become my go to for live bait, soft tackle, line, and terminal tackle.

One of my favorite tackle stores in Toronto. They always have fresh worms and bait. They are also fully stocked at all times. They also have the best quality fishing rods and the prices are very reasonable.I had few questions about the different types of bait and the staff was very knowledgeable about the topic. Great customer service !!!

The best and most complete tackle shop in the area, very knowledgeable and friendly staff tha will let you know where the fishes are biting and tips not tk get skunked.
