I truly can not say enough good things about Jake, our wedding photographer and we are so grateful for how much he contributed to our day. He went above and beyond even helping all of the groomsmen and our Dad's put on their boutonnieres. He was also the only person who noticed I had my hair tie around my wrist before photos! It's been a struggle finding good quality service throughout the wedding planning process but we really couldn't be happier about choosing Beautiful Life Studios. Jake's attention to detail is unmatched! Highly recommend.

We had our wedding on Oct 1, at VanDusen Botanical Garden, near the Meadow Pond. The wedding took place around 1pm, and our photographer was Jake Michael.Before I go into that, a little something about me. I don't like getting my pictures taken. I don't like smiling. I don't like gathering.. (but I love my wife because she'll be reading this.) Prior to the photoshoot, I was very stressed because I didn't know what to expect, and I thought I wasn't going to have a good time.I was so wrong. Also I've never been so happy that I'm wrong. :) Jake arrived a bit earlier, and we had some chitchat before the wedding so everyone got comfortable. He's professional, courteous, and he put everyone at ease. He was also one of the few people who complimented me that day! Had such an amazing experience with Jake at Beautiful Life Studios! We were originally supposed to get married in June 2020 and after postponing our date several times, my original videographer that I booked was no longer available. But this was honestly the best hidden blessing ever because I found Jake! He made the entire process leading up to the wedding super seamless and easy, and was so great to work with the day of. We just got our videos back last week and all I can say is WOW. I’m left speechless by how incredibly he captured every single moment of the day, and how he was able to get so many beautiful moments that we will cherish forever. I already can’t wait to show our future children and grandchildren the videos. It was by far the best investment we made with our wedding and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again! Highly recommend Jake and the beautiful life studios team! Thank you so much again for capturing our day :)

Jake did my engagement photos and wow!! I love them!! My fiancé is a bit shy and I was nervous about how he would do in front of the camera but Jake is such a pro. He gave direction and really made us both feel so comfortable! A little late to post but wanted to make sure I did. We are extremely grateful and happy with the results of our wedding photos and final videos. Working with Jake and his team was easy and natural as they are genuinely good people. They are incredible at what they do and they worked with us to make sure the videos captured everything we were looking for and did their creative editing magic to make the final videos and pics look exactly as intended. They are patient, did not cause any headaches, and made sure we were happy with the results. I still don't know how they captured everything we envisioned (style, sequence, music, etc.) but they created what I refer to as art to beautifully tell our wedding story which will now last a lifetime and enjoyed by future generations in our family as well. Special thanks to Angelo for bringing everything together and bringing out the magic of the day with his wonderful editing. We are so beyond thrilled with our engagement photos, wedding photos and wedding video! Evin (our photographer) is an absolute gem. So lovely to work with, hilarious and took GORGEOUS photos. Everyone we showed our albums too have been impressed. I highly recommend the Beautiful Life team. The cost for quality is unparalleled.
