Suffered from disc issues in my lower back for years and am so thankful I tried out the laser and spinal Decompression machine at unique family chiropractic. Truly a state of the art technology and anyone with back issues should definitely give it a try. Dr Kapadia is very professional and truly wants to see you improve. I am very thankful to her and that decompression machine.

Long story short, 1 year ago, I ripped my back muscles from deadlifting, and needless to say, I never went to anyone for recovery, being the stubborn guy I am, I let it heal on it on. Well, This Thursday we had a major snow storm and my back had commenced hurting a few weeks prior well during the snow storm I had to go get salt for our driveway and decided to pick up 4x22kg(200lbs ish) worth of it while pushing the cart through the snow... I felt the dreadful spike of sharp pain in my lower spine and by the time I got home and out of the car, my back being to spasm, rendering me immobile in my own driveway!Well after 3-4 sessions with Dr. Jillka Unique Family Chiropractic I must say my recovery time was gratefully reduced compared to the last time I've had injured my back.I would like to thank them for all the great work, will continue to visit them but they def have helped with mending and relieving the pain caused by my negligence. Sometimes I forget I am 36... and not 20 anymore.My back is feeling 80% back to health I've gained back most of my mobility and so far no more Sciatica when attempting to get off the bed or move too fast causing nerve rubShe cracks bones I had no idea I can crack! Oufff scary hearing your leg, back, and neck crack but it feels good after.She's actually Treating a few of my family members and it's them who referred me to her and her practice and I see why. Excellent work getting this big guy back on his feet!She treats you like a human being, not like her next income as to the last person I went to in Scarborough(hens, why I let injuries heal on their own)10/10 would continue going and 100% recommend going to this clinic!, Well worth the extra drive!

I have been Dr Kapadia's patient for about 2/3 months. I have one or 2 sessions weekly.For around 15 months I have lived with some significant pain or discomfort daily. Horrible nervy, sciatic pain going through both my lower extremities, or extreme lower back stiffness and pain. Squeezed into that time are 2 herniations of the same disc in my lumbar spine. Ouch.I had sought treatment at 2 other local Physio/Chiro offices over the last year or so, with not much relief.But, since starting my Decompression w/lazer; minor chiro and traction sessions at Unique family chiropractic, my back pain, my sciatica and my piriformis pain have GREATLY improved. And my quality of life , mood and general sensation of well-being have also improved as a result. I'm starting to feel I might not need surgery after all.I have a fairly long road ahead, treatment-wise, but i feel like I am on the right path for the first time in years.Add to the fact it's a small unit, with a family vibe and feel (everyone is incredibly nice in a genuine way), and that front desk and support from Rebecca is excellent, I cannot recommend Unique Family Chiropractic enough.

Anyone with back issues should definitely give it a try. Dr Kapadia is very professional and will build a plan that works.

After suffering from chronic shoulder and neck pain for over 6 months with no end in sight i found myself at their door. I am a work in progress but everyday i am a step ahead to get the old me back when you walk in to the office you are greeted with a warm welcome

I've been seeing Dr.Kapadia for over a decade and there is truly no one else I would trust with my health and my babies health other than her. I started seeing her 10 years ago for my chronic migraines and she significantly helped reduce and eventually eliminate my chronic migraine pain! I cannot put into words the way her care has improved my quality of life! She has also helped me through 2 pregnancies and both resulted in fast delivery times! Most recently, she was able to turn my breeched baby with 1-2 sessions and kept my baby head down until delivery - I will forever be grateful for this! Dr.Kapadia always made sure to educate me on what she was doing and helped keep me informed the entire time. I truly cannot recommend a better practitioner than Dr.Kapadia!

I have been attending this clinic for almost a year now, and I absolutely love it, great service, amazing people and would definitely recommend this clinic for all your alternative medical needs. Chiropractor, Naturopath, Chirpodist. Haven't tried the Massage therapist, but I'm positive they are amazing as well.
