The Fog Company

I loved the ice cream at The Fog Company. I tried the Lighthouse Lemon, cinnamon bun and pecan butter tart ripple. They were all delicious and I can’t wait to try new flavours next time I visit. I wish they had one in Ontario.

A+ Ice Cream on the waterfront of Halifax. There are tons of great flavors, cookies, and donuts, too! Gluten-free options as well! Staff members are super friendly and quick. I am a big fan of the Fog Company, and I can't wait to try more of their ice cream flavors! It is one of the only places on the waterfront with soft serve ice cream!

Soft Serve Ice Cream Treats! This place is fairly new and I have been excited to try. It didn't disappoint. Was the smoothest and creamy Soft Serve I have ever had. Not overly sweet. It was just right! If I was to quote Goldilocks. The staff was extremely helpful and eager to assist. They serve ice cream cones, ice cream doughnut sandwiches and cookie ice cream sandwiches. The flavors for the ice cream, cookies and doughnuts appear to change over time. Everything was extremely fresh. The neat part was everything is served/wrapped with their home made cotton candy which in turn acts as an edible napkin to catch the drippings that you can eat at the end. Yum! Also has a cute little outside patio that is doggy friendly with a fresh running piped watering system. Woof! Recommend this place for a cool treat to beat the heat or to just cure that sweet tooth craving. Located on the Halifax Water Front.

What's can be better than ice cream and cotton candy? When you put them together on one cone! My daughter loved the combo and with the small bite she let me have it tasted amazing! What a fun idea!

This is a unique ice cream place, brand new to the Halifax waterfront and it is very busy. They sell proper ice creams but with white cotton candy around the cones, those are set cones you chose from to have the ice cream. You are also allowed to go in and just get a scoop of their flavours and enjoy the freshness. Overall, great place and will be going here to try more of their flavours and uniqueness!

Recently had the lighthouse lemon, a spiced dark chocolate,Creamsicle and cinnamon bun. All so delicious and really can’twait to return for more. Hopefully The Fog will also open a locationin Ontario soon.

Went yesterday and was severely disappointed. From the looks of Instagram you get an experience but upon arrival we felt rushed to order and the staff wasn't good at offering suggestions or explanations of the choices. Saw a staff member blantantly roll their eyes as a child was struggling to make a decision for toppings.I had a stroller and was passed my two ice creams before I even made it to cash which resulted in an obvious struggle to try and maneuver my way to pay. I was then offered a stand to place my cone in but it had already started to melt at that point which was before we even got outside. There was no offer for a dish or napkins as I was visibly struggling.It was a hot day which I understand is beyond anybody's control but the lack of umbrellas outside in their seating area resulted in our ice creams and cotton candy all turning into a melted mess before we had the chance to enjoy it. Essentially I paid 39$ for soup.. the mister moon donut was good it had filling inside that tasted just like the classic scoop of moon mist !Overall it was just disappointing after looking at their socials I expected more from the customer service side of things.

The vegan coconut was so creamy and delicious, and the vegan spiced chocolate is also a must try! I'll have to go back to try the donuts and cookies as well since they look amazing. I appreciate that they have a selection of food that accommodates dietary restrictions/preferences and allergies.
