When getting on the boat, the first thing to do is to claim a home seat. At peak times, this can require a scramble. In general, the vehicles that get to the dock first get on the boat first, giving you first choice of seats. Seating is very different on the different boats. BLUE PUTTEES: There are airplane seats" available for general passengers at the stern on Decks 7 and 8. Deck 8 is a little less crowded than Deck 7. The seats are very comfortable

*From Late Last Year*We had a great travel experience with Marine Atlantic. Customer service was super friendly, our accommodations were clean and cozy, the food was delish. Despite the weather we had as fairly smooth crossing.(North Sydney to Port Aux Basques)

Outstanding ferry boat service to and from NL. Beautiful cruise ships and friendly staff always with comfy furnishings all over the grand ships. They also accommodate diverse needs and are highly accessible for people in wheelchairs and in general disabilities. If needed they can provide a space to pray as well although the ship is large enough to find a space on your own if needed with clean bathrooms etc. The cabins are really nice too as is the lounge and spacing in general. Ample space for parking vehicles and trucks. Space is available for kennelling your pets if needed too.

As always staff was polite and on point great trip onboard the ship room was clean and comfortable with great shower with hot water and large fluffy towels

COVID restrictions in place inside the Ferry Terminal. Fairly quick while loading compared to waiting in the lineup on the ground. Took Blue Puttees for overnight trip in the Cabin to save time and catch up on sleep. Arrives at 7 next morning Local Time" (half an hour earlier due to time zone difference) at Port aux Basques

Ferry is getting back to normal, seating isn’t to bad. Gotta get rid of covid rules and open restaurant and bar back up! your on a bike and you want it nailed down, bring ratchet straps. They just have fold over ones.

They treat the commercial drivers like garbage. Forcing them to stay in cabins with random people. With no purchase option or reservation option for upgrade. Upgrades are first come last serve, everyone before commercial. Fail.
