The Glades Woodland Garden
Superb rhododendron gardens with numerous intersecting mulch paths on ten acres. Dotted with statues and many lovely features throughout. Large pond with a series of three fountains. Open mainly in May. Reserve your 1 hour time slot online. $7.00 per person, kids 12 & under free but must also be preregistered online. Well worth it. Don’t forget your camera!

It is a very beautiful garden that only opens in May and July. However, a friend of mine went in early June and found that most flowers whitered already. If you go, please go in May!Parking is limited. Try to pick non peak hours when you buy tickets.Small entry fees is required. But it's very reasonable.

A never fading beauty of a garden of love. What I love most here are decades old rhododendrons of different colors. This place will surely relieve yourself from days stress as you stroll around. Good for family to enjoy, even wheelchaired people. In addition this year there's a live band playing old melodies that adds romantic feeling as you walk around.

The Glades Woodland Garden
This garden is gorgeous and is essentially exactly as advertised: a private residence that is occasionally open to the public.I enjoyed the garden. Staff were lovely; parking was easy. The price was affordable and reflective of the size of the place ($7 for 5 acres of garden to explore)Bathrooms were only port-o-potties, which is fine.Trail was loose mulch, which was a bit dusty and dry so it definitely got into the socks!Nice mix of shade and sun with lots of benches. Not many grassy areas, and no protection around ponds, so watch your toddlers closely. The garden supported staggered entry times so it wasn’t too crowded.Tickets had to be purchased in advance and no cash accepted.Lack of directional signage. Not wheelchair accessible, and strollers would also be tough. It seems awkward to charge the public money yet have it be restricted in this way.

The parking lot is small, but very often someone leaves. An hour is enough to see everything. Drinks and food can be purchased there at the entrance. There is so much beauty in that small area (ponds, waterfall, fountain, bridges, benches, and flowering plants everywhere). Make a wise choice of shoes if you have sensitive skin. The tracks are covered with a substance made of tiny pieces of wood that easily irritates the skin. Every few minutes we had to stop and take my kid's sandals off (I'll bring rain boots next time). We missed the visiting time that was in ours tickets but were still allowed to enter. The plants provide good shade and it is pleasant to walk even in hot sunny weather. We really liked this garden.

The Glades Woodland Garden
I call it a beautiful secret garden in South Surrey. Yes, because not a lot of people knows about this garden. It is located at 4th ave and 172 Street. A MUST SEE!Only open in spring season. It used to be a private property but the generous couple decided to donate it to city of Surrey so that we can all see and enjoy the beauty of the garden. Tall and different color of rhododendrons, sunken garden, white row boat, ponds, exotic flowers and shrubs are my favorites ❤❤.Free parking$7 entrance, free for children under 12Tickets can be purchased online and by phone ONLY.Will take about 45mins-1 hr to stroll the whole garden. Not stroller and wheelchairs friendly, pathways are uneven and not concrete.Few benches around the park to sit and just listen to the birds chirping. There are 2 porta pottiesNo dogs allowedSo many things to describe about the beauty of this garden but I want you guys to see it for yourself.Enjoy and appreciate the beauty of nature and the kindness of the former owner of this garden

The Glades Woodland Garden
Beautiful garden, Glades only open for spring and summer Saturday and Sunday. Although you have to pay$7 for admission but it worth every penny. The garden is well maintained, the path way is soft and especially good for the elderly. The color of the flowers are so vibrant that you feel like entering into a fairy tales.

Beautiful natural paths! It’s quiet, small, and quaint park, like a Japanese garden. There are many areas for people to stop and sit. Lots of places to take pictures or even enjoy the aroma of the flowers and trees. The people at the entrance of the park are very nice. Tickets are booked online beforehand.Very much would recommend.

Visited the park later in June, most flowers are gone, but landscape is still quite beautiful and park staff are friendly
