WARNING! If you require automobile servicing and prioritize the safety of yourself and your family, I urge you to take a moment to read this. A couple of days ago, I visited this automobile service center to have my car's brakes changed and the heating system repaired in preparation for winter. Despite clearly expressing my specific needs, the service center insisted on charging me $170 for a brake and heating system inspection. To my dismay, when the customer service representative called to confirm the repairs, I reiterated that I only required brake replacement and heater repair. The following day, I received a call informing me that my car was ready for pickup. However, upon starting the engine, I immediately noticed a warning indicating a flat tire. I promptly visited the office of Canadian Tire, the mechanic shop, and explained the situation to the receptionist. To my surprise, I was informed that such warnings were normal after servicing and would disappear from the display shortly. The next day, when I checked the tire, I discovered it was completely flat. Feeling rushed to arrive at work on time and with other commitments for the day, I was thoroughly disappointed. Consequently, I contacted the automotive service section at Canadian Tire and explained the situation. Their response was that there were many nails in the vicinity of the shop, suggesting that this was the cause of the flat tire. They refused to accept any responsibility and insisted I bear the expenses for fixing the tire.I felt extremely frustrated and dissatisfied with what had transpired. However, the most distressing part of this ordeal was yet to come. When I attempted to check the car's heating system, to my surprise, IT WAS NOT WORKING! Despite being charged $2,000 solely for brake and heating system repairs, Canadian Tire had failed to fix the heating system. This prompted me to contact Canadian Tire's customer service to lodge a complaint. Unfortunately, several days went by without anyone returning my call or demonstrating any concern for the problem caused by their negligence. At this point, I decided to reach out to the car service manager at the Canadian store in hopes of finding a resolution and understanding why no one was willing to accept responsibility. After numerous follow-ups, the service shop manager finally agreed to inspect my car to determine why the heating system was malfunctioning and to examine the flat tire. I brought my car in for inspection the following day. After a couple of hours, the service shop manager called me with the news that they were unable to repair the heating system. However, they claimed to have fixed my tire. I was both frustrated and angry. When I questioned why I had been charged $2,000 for doing nothing, the manager refused to engage in further conversation, citing store policy. I reiterated that my only request was to fix the brakes and heating system, which Canadian Tire had failed to do. Thus, I was forced to retrieve my car from Canadian Tire for the second time, despite being assured they had repaired the tire. Unfortunately, they proved to be the epitome of dishonesty within our community—deceitful, discourteous, and entirely lacking in integrity. To add insult to injury, upon starting my engine, I was greeted by a new warning for low oil, and despite their claim of fixing the tire, it remained flat. Can you imagine the extent of my frustration?I immediately contacted customer service and expressed my deep concerns about the safety of driving this car. Their response? If you don't feel safe

Customer service is a thing of the past. I asked an Employee to helpMe locate some shelves that were in stock in isle 43. He told me they are in isle 43 to which I replied I couldn’t find them. He went off to “look for them”. 25 minutes later I see him helping another customer in a different department. A courtesy I am unable to locate them would have been nice.Overall the store is also very disorganized and poorly kept.

There is a reason I rarely shop at Canadian Tire but today I need a few items and I was shopping at another store next to CT anyway. I picked up the 4 items and went through the self checkout. Of the 4 items 3 were priced wrong, but the CS cashier insisted the prices were correct because that was what was on her computer. When I decided to just cancel the transactions and go elsewhere which is what I would normally have done she decides to call and have someone do a price check. It 10 minutes for me to find the 4 items and 20 minutes to checkout because she couldn’t find anyone to verify the prices.

This store has some serious inventory management issues. Stock all over, pallets and carts blocking the shelves and isles and it feels like poorly stocked shelves could topple over on you at any minute. I spent 40 minutes in this store trying to find camping gear that was spread out all over the store. Don't waste your time going to this store...take the extra few minutes to travel to any other Canadian Tire.

Customer service is horrible. Went to return something bought 2 days ago. I had receipt in hand and they told me to go to a different store to return. It was a Mastercraft tool... aren't these warranted for life? She was too lazy to do paperwork I guess- so here I am driving across the city to return to another store. I WILL NOT spend a dollar at this store ever again.** Update after OWNER" responded and told me to call the 800 number. It's a general number where there's no direction on who to talk to. Why not at least point us in a direction of who to talk to. This completely aligns with the experience above. Instead of helping us ... you make us figure it out on our own

Great service, got a lot of help from an associate in the bikes area... I believe his coworkers on the radio called him Big Deisel. He was very patient with me trying out a couple bikes and being indecisive. He had stuff to do and told us where we could find him if we needed more help. Props to him for helping us and not seeming irriated at all at my bike testing.I did end up buy a wonderful clearance bike at a very low rate.

This auto center shouldn't even get one star. I took my truck in at 330pm to get one tire patched from the inside because my plug was slowly leaking. I was told to leave it for a few hours and they would take care of it. I walked in the store at 845pm because i was fed up with waiting, and upon my inquiry they told me that it was not repairable. Then i was informed that the paperwork was set aside and forgotten about. I feel as though the second they determined they were not going to do any repair, they should have notified me by the phone number they took, and was already on file. Instead however, they made my dog and i wait at the store for over 5 hours, as we had no ride and don't live here, because they were disorganized, or lazy, or both. Will never come here again and i don't recommend the auto center to anyone else looking to solve any problems. The main store attached is great however, lots of friendly staff, and good looking isles, very clean, too bad the auto service is non existent.

My family's choice of daily supply shopping all the time since we have been to Canada. 100% Satisfaction with all my appreciation.
