Great place! And an Ally! Remember to bring cash, as Tony (the owner) recently got rid of debit and credit to save on costs. The service was incredible! And I’m very happy with my haircut! He met me at the door, has cameras in the parking lot so you can see your car is safe, had a space for my belongings, he asked me if I knew what I wanted, and I said mullet. He said he did a lot in the 70s, which shows his experience in the field and he was very friendly! When I mentioned I was trans nonbinary and my pronouns he was enthusiastically supportive! So if you’re queer and nervous about getting a gender affirming haircut, I 10/10 would recommend! He made sure I liked it before I left the chair, giving me opportunity to customize it, and wasn’t judgmental or pushy at all with the direction of the haircut. Definitely my new hairstylist for as long as I live in Durham Region!

On behalf of Diana...Tony maybe me feel so comfortable, I was extremely anxious about my hair being cut after many terrible cuts over the yrs. I have never loved my hair style more than I ever have. I would recommend him to anyone at all. Tony was amazing with putting my nerves to rest. Thanks for the beautiful hairstyle. I feel like a new me!

A good haircut adds to one's confidence, and this is indeed the right place to go if you want a great haricut. Tony and Bibi know hair. Tony's expertise and passion is evident. He took the time to explain the process and took my preferences into consideration. I've never had any stylist understand the texture of my hair (and the problems that come with it) so well before cutting it. He also gave tips on how to style my hair. I am so glad I went here. Tony was great! I hadn't had a proper haircut in years so I was a little nervous and did a ton of research on what hairstyle would look good with my face shape and lifestyle. Turned out to be a waste of time because Tony knew exactly what needed to be done. Without saying a word, Tony described the same, much researched, perfect" style for me. Tony and Bibi are amazing! Tony does my hubby’s and my hair and Bibi does my son’s as well as my hair colour. We love the service. I recommend to take an appointment in advance. Very friendly and very professional at the same time! I love haircuts and love the haircuts, hair colour that they have given us! Highly recommend

I can’t speak highly enough of this salon. Bibi is fantastic !! Bibi is the definition of perfection when it comes to hair cutting and styling . I love the haircut and hair style she gave me both the times I was here. I have been getting compliments daily for my hair as a result of her work .

I stumbled upon Hairworx via a simple internet search and based on the endless positive reviews I decided to book a cut with Tony who was very accommodating. Upon my arrival I was greeted immediately and Tony gave me a consultation before my cut. He explained step by step what he was doing and even provided styling tips during the blow-dry. I never felt rushed which is often typical when going to a salon these days. They seem to want you in and out quick to get to the next person, not at Hairworx. Love my cut! When I got home the first thing my teenage daughter said was ‘I want a cut like that’. Looks like I’ll be seeing you again soon Tony!

I had the best experience here and I loved the haircut Tony gave me….
