Our family had the trip of a lifetime in the Galapagos and in Ecuador. Knowmad connected us to local guides that made our trip the immersive learning experience it was. The local guides were so knowledgable and taught us so much! Thank you for working with us to find activities that worked within our travel dates.

We just returned from a magical trip to Ecuador, thanks to the amazing team at Knowmad. We explored the Amazon, the Galapagos and the highlands and we could not have been happier with the excursions, accommodations, food, and cultural experiences. We traveled with another couple and Knowmad did a terrific job at listening to our priorities and and designing a itinerary that heeded our budget and suited each of us. They provided excellent prep materials and also helped us navigate the travel insurance. We are usually independent travelers, but working with Knowmad proved why using an agency with deep experience can make traveling truly special.

Knowmad arranged our trip to Chile a few years ago and it was spectacular , so we knew that we definitely wanted to use them again for our trip to the Galapagos and Ecuadorian Amazon.Renee was extremely helpful and responsive in planning the trip, and every detail was perfect. We loved the itinerary she suggested and all the places we stayed- everything met or exceeded expectations.We had several flights and transfers, and all our travel was seamless. We look forward to planning our next trip to South America with Knowmad!

Krista helped arrange my trip, and Colin jumped in to follow up on pre-travel items. From start to post trip follow up, Knowmad was outstanding. The transfers were flawless, the accommodations (though I did have an idea of where I wanted to stay) were perfect, and my guide in Valpo (Felipe) was the absolute best! If visiting Valparaiso, I'd HIGHLY suggest requesting Felipe.I highly recommend Knowmad for your South American travels. It's worth the investment to seek superb guidance. I look forward to planning my trip to Colombia with them in the near future.

This was our first trip to South America and Knowmad did an excellent job in introducing us to the county. Our trip centered around Patagonia in Chile. All our excursions were amazing, the sights were breath taking. Our transfers were seamless eliminating our worries when going to our next destination. Our itinerary was primarily developed with the assistance of our trip specialist Krista Erdahl. She did a great job in working with want we wanted out of our trip and making it a reality. We plan on going back to South America with Knowmad assisting us with more travel adventures.

We just returned from a trip to the Galapagos Islands. My experience was 100% positive. The words I would use to describe it are: mythical, magical, epic. I am grateful to Knowmad for making things easy and smooth. They were professional, efficient, and super helpful. I have traveled quite extensively and have always traveled on my own. I have never used a travel agency before this trip. After my experience with Knowmad I am rethinking my approach...

Knowmad adventures planned an amazing trip for us to Patagonia and Easter Island, along with a few other places in Chile. We were nervous about traveling to remote locations but the Knowmad team did an amazing job arranging all the travel and activities. The hotels they picked for us matched our preferences well, and the team organized tours and other activities (e.g. wine tasting, bird watching) for us with insightful and friendly guides.

Had a great time in Chile with our trip planned through Knowmad Adventures. Santiago, Patagonia, Chiloe, and Atacama. Great logistic support on the ground with their in-country partner, Trails of Chile. Our only frustration is that they couldn't facilitate some lodging preferences and private excursions which were planned by us outside their package. Nevertheless all arrangements by Knowmad were first rate.

During Feb/March 2023 my husband and I spent one month traveling Argentine, Antarctica and Chili. We selected Knowmad again after using them 8 years ago when we hiked to Machu Picchu. We were extremely pleased with them back then and equally pleased with them for this trip. We highly recommend Knowmad. Thanks to their flawless attention to detail and well vetted unique excursions and accommodations - this truly was the trip of a lifetime.We worked with Renee to put together the most spectacular itinerary and with Luke who meticulously managed all the details after we finalized the itinerary. We started in Buenos Aires then flew up to Iguazu Falls then flew to Ushuaia for a cruise to Antarctica. Came back to Ushuaia then to El Calafante, Patagonia Camp, Santiago and ended in Valparaiso - with several vineyard tours along the way. The transfers were flawless (and yes, there were many), the accommodations were very comfortable and unique to the area - several also had phenomenal on-site restaurants, the guides were very knowledgeable and without exception went above and beyond offering us suggestions on other places to see while we had free time".It's hard to choose my favorite part of the trip b/c we loved every aspect but I could easily have spent a month at Pat Camp.We have already recommended Knowmad to several friends and will continue to recommend them to anyone who wants a 5 star authentic South American experience. Hands down - they're the best!"

LIFETIME EXPERIENCE!Elizabeth and Krista from Knomad Adventures organized one of the most incredible trips we have ever taken. 12 days in five cities throughout Argentina, Buenos Aires, El Calafate, El Chalten, Bariloche and Mendoza.Everything they booked was meticulously researched to fit our likes, dislikes, fitness level and personal interest. The whole itinerary was flawlessly executed, from hotels to restaurants suggestions and then reservations.Krista and Elizabeth found little hidden gems that we would not have known about on our own. I loved that they didn't so the typical touristy stuff, but more the seasoned traveler arrangements.Even got to se the elusive GuanacosEach guide and each driver in all 5 cities made our trip even more interesting, all top-notch, knowledgeable and courteous, and well versed in Argentina culture, history and current affairs.Because of one of the domestic airlines, we hit a little hiccup in the road. Elizabeth immediately coordinated with the local agency to re-organize all our routings, tour guides, drivers. Every was seamless and took all the stress away. Moreover, they were extremely generous in reimbursing an activity even though 1) it wasn't their fault and 2) the activity owner wouldn't reimburse K.A.I mean they really go out of their way to give you impeccable service and knowledge!There's no way we could've done this trip without Knowmad Adventures, we are glad we booked with them and look forward to booking our next year's trip with them to Peru/Chile next winter as well!Big thank you to both
