The good: he knows his stuff. He was able to identify the problem with my oven by a quick description over the phone. He fixed it up and it's performing like new.The bad: he missed three appointments (the first two with no communication; I had to call him and I got the impression he forgot). Communication and reliability issues.

The service we received was excellent. Very reasonable rates. Dan is friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend Hastings Home Appliance Repair.

This review is not about the quality of the work it is for the responsiveness and communication. Dan went and saw the washing machine and he said he found the issue. But he didn't respond after it is been 8 days with no response after several calls and texts

I called this company to repair my older model Kenmore washing machine. It wasn’t agitating properly and the smaller repairs that I had attempted didn’t resolve the issue. Dan came to my home on April 18 to diagnose the problem. He wasn’t very friendly but that wasn’t too big of a deal. He removed the part and was going to send it away to be rebuilt. I asked him about just getting another similar washer but he told me that I would probably run into a similar issue and recommended that I fix it. He told me that it would be 2 weeks until the part came back. At the two week mark I phoned again to touch base and see if the part was ready yet. Dan was incredibly rude and short with me. He told me that he would call me when the part came in. It’s now almost 6 months later and I never did get a call back. Unless you’re ok with unfriendly, rude people who will take parts out of your appliances and then ghost you, I would steer clear of Hastings Home Appliance Repair.

Looking at the reviews, seems like maybe he use to do good work but that wasn't my experience. In fact, I called twice over the span of a week and both times he said he would contact my tenants immediately but never did. Also wasn't the friendliest over the phone.

Dan arrived within the time he specified, he diagnosed the problem with our dryer and he repaired it in a professional and safe manner. Rates were fair and reasonable. I would definitely use Hastings again and recommend them to anyone needing appliance repairs.

I’m very pleased with the service I received from Dan. He was on time, knowledgeable, friendly, and fixed my dryer in an hour. Considering I was his last call on a Friday, I’m impressed.

Terrible service!! He came and looked at our washer and said we needed a new pump. He said that he would order one and it should only take 3 days and he’d call when it’s in. It’s been nearly a month and I have heard nothing! We’ve called so many times and can’t even leave a message because his inbox is full.So disappointed…

Called at 5:00 PM and technician was at my house at 9:00 AM the next morning. He diagnosed the problem in about 5 minutes and was back with the part and fixed my refrigerator the same day. Very polite and very professional. I would definitely recommend them and would use again.
