H&R Block

Been using HRB all my life never again they steal your money first they said 30$ then 90$ on the phone few hours later then I get there they want over 180$ and refuse to give me a refund right away. They straight up say you can get your money right away then not to it. Disgusting. Lying Disgusting people.

iam not very happy with H&R block i filed my taxes with them last year and it’s been nothing but a headache i haven’t gotten child tax on time this is the 2 second time that they have done this to me i wish i never do my taxes with them have given me so much miss information i do not recommend anyone to go to H&R and file their taxes

Didn't inform me that if I had filed last years taxes even though I didn't have the money to pay, I wouldn't have owed the interest. I used to work for H and R Block for 2 seasons and I understand the lack of knowledge and why. Don't count on them giving you all the correct advice as they are put through a conveyer belt for training and they don't care about the employees, just the money they make!

They charged me 110 dollars to file my tax which should be around 30 to 40 dollars. They knew it i am a full time international student and how hard it is for us to manage expenses here in Canada. Basically, they take advantage of people who they think are new to this country. They tell you low prices on call but if you just go there directly they will charge you more for nothing. Very bad!

I have dealt with Judy for the past few years she's great. My son uses her too. They are alittle expensive but do good work.

As always a pleasure to deal with Judy - both tax returns for my husband and I done in 30 minutes!

The staff were great, answered my questions and had my taxes done in minutes, only took a star off because of the cost of a basic return, just seems steep

I am trying to decide if I should get my taxes done here,it looks like you have a lot of disappointed customers, that really makes me wonder if I should go somewhere else. Well hopefully Melina is working the day I come in.

Judy is the best person to do tax returns. My family have been going to her for years. She's very knowledgeable and polite. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Not impressed with the level of professionalism they have. Each and every single person in this office gives you wildly different information, from what proper procedure is in filing with them, to the information about your return and what was actually sent. Took me several days to file a complete return after they refused to allow a walk-in appointment so close to the deadline, even though the lady that did my return said the exact opposite. I noticed several mistakes and errors that a professional should have been able to avoid. In the end, I probably could have been able to file a return much quicker and with much fewer mistakes filing it myself. If you’re able, you’re better off finding a private accountant or using the abundant amount of software available for this purpose. What a waste of energy.
