Wow can’t believe how amazingly below average this cake was! I am so happy that I was able to eat a cake that tastes as wonderfully sad as it looked! Will not disappoint just keep your standard low!This review was edited based on business owners reply. This is a fact!I just had the pleasure of eating it at an event and asked who made the cake so that I finally had a baseline for what a lousy cake tastes like. Thank you for giving me the chance to eat it and appreciate any other cake that I can purchase in a store instead of from you! Happy cake eating all!

I love finding new and local bakeries, and had an incredible experience with Custom Cakes by C. We ordered a massive cake for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and were very pleased with what we received. The end result was like a piece of art. Great service too, quick and friendly communication, and the baker personally helped load the cake in my van to ensure it was secure and would transport safely and provided written instructions to care for the cake.

This is an incredible local baker, can't put to words how happy I was with my order. I had an idea of what I wanted, but they were able to put it together for a unique design and bring it to life. Tasted amazing too!

We have, in the past, tried many custom bakers because we order a custom cake for every birthday, wedding (of course), and honestly most parties. We tried Custom Cakes by C because of a recommendation from a family member, and we needed a really cool cake for an 1800s themed murder mystery party. I was over the moon happy when I saw my beautiful cake that she had designed for me. It looked like she had brought her sketch to life, and the custom flavor that we had requested was the most delicious, moist, cake we had ever tasted, and not cooingly sweet whatsoever. Just a moist cake with luscious whipped buttercream. She even advised us as to how to store the leftovers (because we wanted a big centerpiece cake, but had less than 50 people at the party and didn't want to waste a bite). I am raving because this cake was the talk of my party and a total hit!My only note is that you probably do want to order months in advance. The first time we tried to order with only three weeks, and she was already fully booked. I noticed a few reviews stating that she is willing to take rush orders, which is great if necessary, but I was so so happy with the service I received and the personalized cake/how she made that happen and spent a lot of time communicating and making sure everything was the way I imagined, and I just don't think you would get that if you were trying to rush. After receiving our order, I can see why she books up so quickly. There is a second location that doesn't book up as fast, but when I ordered, she advised me that the other baker is less experienced and she wasn't comfortable placing my order with that location, which I was appreciative of her honesty, so for a true masterpiece, this is the location you want to go to.

I had ordered a wedding cake pre-covid but ended up needing to cancel because of restrictions. I was so very impressed by how this situation was handled by Custom Cakes by C, and then when life and scheduling got in the way and long story short, the wedding ended up not happening until this year, I wasn't sure if I could still pick up the order where I had left off, I was totally shocked to find out the owner still remembered me and our previous discussions about my wedding. She still had everything I had sent her on file with al of my inspiration photos and our previous sketch, so getting the order in again was so quick, and she still allowed me to pick up a new tasting box with her new flavors for this season. I finally tied the knot last weekend and my cake was everything I had been dreaming of for 3 years. If you are shopping around for a wedding baker, trust me when I say that Custom Cakes by C would be the perfect choice.

I ordered a fresh cream fruit cake with a fruit border for a milestone birthday and retirement party. Upon picking up the cake it was left outside on the front porch on a hot day. The cake presentation was less than desirable.

What an awesome experience this little bakery gave us. You could probably think of anything and they could make it. Pros: Prompt, friendly, helpful service. Tasty and well enjoyed cake. Cake looked great and was perfect for the theme. Well packed in a sturdy box. Came on a thick sturdy cake board. Biggest pro - WIFE WAS HAPPY. Cons - Little hard to find, but worth it so I'm not docking a star over something so small overall. Had some technical difficulty paying my invoice which probably isn't to any fault of the business so again, can't dock a star for it given that everything else was great. Owner was very helpful with both of the above mentioned issues so no harm done.

Happy to have found this baker being that they saved our behinds when our previous baker canceled my order for my granddaughter's birthday. They were able to accommodate us even with the short notice and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the order. A+ for both taste, looks, and service.

Avoid this baker as they are a scammer and put fake 5-star reviews! Just one example is Layton Reboul who recently put in a 5-star review, Layton also recently did a 5-star review on Dan’s Cakery, please note the photo they included in their review. Now look at this cookie post Custom Cakes by C made on Instagram in August 22 2021, looks like the exact same batch cookies! If you look at the red cookies on the Google review that Layton posted, you can clearly tell that someone very poorly tried to edit the photo by removing Sadie and replacing it with Laura in Microsoft Paint.Many of her other 5-star reviews are made on accounts that have only ever made one google review before before or have also made reviews on her other baking business Dan's Cakery, seems suspicious! I would avoid at all costs. Also, the owner also used to own Over the Rainbow Dayhome (you can google and read the news article) but she left 5 children unattended in the dayhome while she left the residence and she was convicted of Child Abandonment

The owner really knows her stuff and cares about her customers. Just an all around great person to order from especially if you support local/small businesses. We ordered our wedding cake, and after sampling six delicious flavors, chose pink champagne as the flavor, which was moist, and just the right amount of sweet, and felt very high end. The owner delivered the cake personally and set it up for us at the venue, and allowed us to use flowers from our wedding bouquet on the cake ,which she put on for us when she arrived. The cake was the star of show and outshone the rest of the meal in both taste and aesthetics. It was clean and professional and everything we wanted it to be. Really can't say enough how wonderful our experience with Custom Cakes and especially with the owner, has been. As a nice added touch, we were given a coupon for 10% off a first anniversary cake which of course, we will be using.
