Minoru Park

Major props to the city for creating such a beautiful and tranquil park in the middle of bustling Richmond! Nice little pathways everywhere, and gorgeous water works. There’s even a mini water-fall and a small island. Amazing!

Beautiful Spring walk among the fresh scent and beauty of new blossoming flowers and cute bunny + bird families. 4☆ as walk was short but 5/5 for scenic + amenities (bathrooms + playpark + fields for picnics/ family sports etc).

Went for a walk and explored this park for almost an hour. It has nice clear paths to walk on. It has lots of courts, fields and pitches for sports to be played on. Grounds seem to be well maintained and I felt safe walking alone. When the buildings are hidden by the trees, you can forget where you are. Ponds were occupied by quite a few ducks while squirrels and rabbits were all over. Mature trees made this park beautiful and I could have easily done a few more loops around. There's also quite a few benches for you to just sit down and enjoy the fall colors.

Minoru Park is an excellent place for jogging

Wow, I haven't been to the park since covid and was shocked to see how different it is. The work that has been done is amazing. It's such a lovely park to walk, get pictures, or sit and chill. Definitely recommend going for a walk in the park. They have installed lots of seating in the area! Very nice!

Newly Renovated, very clean and nice layout design, just missing some flowers, not sure if they will come later or they were taken out. Very cute baby ducks and rabbits seen throughout the park. The water feature and bridges were a nice touch but garbage still seen and lots of poop on the ground. Lawn bowling area still there, the paths have changed somewhat

Very nice park for cherry blossom view. The chapel looks especially cute with cherry blossoms. It’s walking distance to Richmond center. Highly recommended when you are in Richmond and look for somewhere to chill and check out cherry blossoms. It’s a nice park for different views in all seasons, but unfortunately the park lakes area will close soon until early 2023 for maintenance.

The park was closed for months for the renovation. When we walk in the park, it seems bigger and brighter. Some of the beautiful trees and stairs were removed.The most important up grade that the park missing is the washroom. Since the park now is seniors wheel chairs friendly, many more seniors can enjoy the park. The only washroom near the lawn bowling is way too outdated and broken. Please send some staff for taking care of it. The new bigger washroom is in need now.This is a pretty park and good for all ages. The city add many more sitting area and picnic tables along the wide and flat walkway. It means more people will come here. So please up grade the washroom is very important.If you think the washrooms is an issue, write, email or call the City of Richmond.Let the beautiful park keeps it's pretty.The geese management is another issue.

Such a gorgeous park. Love the work they did with the lake. It’s much better.

Nice trail walk surrounding the pond with lots of ducks goose and birds. The autumn leaves are just wonderful. Though it was windy today, the scenery and atmosphere was great for a 30-minutes walk.
