A great place for a fine dinner. We ordered beef Wellington and seared tuna salad. I also ordered their family wine (i.e. chateau de Chamille) which is very good.

Our experience at French Table was excellent. We were a bit hesitant after reading the reviews, very happy we went to check it out for ourselves. This is a classic professional style French Bistro with traditional dishes. The staff are seasoned and there to provide you with service. They take their jobs seriously, they are there to serve patrons and not to provide entertainment or friendship. If you truly enjoy traditional French fare you will not be disappointed. Can't wait to visit again.

I have lived on Main street for 4 years and only went to the French Table the first time on Valentine's day. I am really impressed with this restaurant. Excellent service. This is a well run restaurant with servers committed to giving you the best experience. Although it was a set menu, we were absolutely happy with our choices. I fear that Main street doesn't give this place the love it deserves because it isn't chasing all the fads of cuisine. You will feel very welcome here. The food is delicious and presented beautifully. If you ever put off going here, stop putting it off and go.

Had a lovely Sunday brunch here. Very relaxing as the place is quiet and not too busy. Excellent services and delicious food. Onion soup is very authentic. However, the waffles are a little too soft and chewy for our likings.

Had a great night at this restaurant about a week ago. Excellent food, wonderful service by our waiter and a first rate wine list. We have only one minor complaint. Our waiter (can't remember his name -- shorter man) needs to pay more attention to his personal hygiene. Don't want to embarrass him, but it's something he needs to address. In spite of that we will definitely visit again.

Coming in for Saturday brunch, my only regret was not ordering their mussels and side of fries as I saw them being served to the table next to us. Although their brunch is delicious, and also very well presented, I think that French Table is enjoyed best for their lunch and dinner items. Comfortable for groups for up to 6 people. Very cozy atmosphere and good quality service. Wheelchair accessible, no stairs leading into the restaurant or bathrooms. Brunch wasn't busy but I'm sure that their evenings can be, so call in advance to book a table.

We have eaten in many French restaurants over the years and have travelled France a lot. We found the food to be very average and overpriced and the wines, oooh la la, soooo overpriced - 3x liquor store prices, so we ordered only 1 glass of wine each. The Special Martinis" at $17.00 are small and not worth it. I had the cassoulet

Had dinner with my wife who was craving for Cheese Fondue. Fondue was good. We ordered escargot for appetizer which was very disappointing. Escargot was too salty which seemed came fr for a can. The one who prepared didn’t even bother to rinse it a bit to remove the saltiness. We ordered a litre of wine for $48 which is too expensive for this type of place. Other drinks are expensive as well. Service is ok but ambiance is lacking. The other offers on the menu seem good but not coming back. There are other places that are worth going to with the amount we spent here,

We came in on Sunday Feb 13 with the anticipation of the Valentine's Day set menu. Long story short, there was a miscommunication between Herve and I and we couldn't get the Valentine's Day set menu as it was only offered for Monday Feb 14th only.A bit disappointed for us at first because we had our hopes up and had cancelled a previous reservation to be at the French Table. Let me share with you how thoughtful, kind, and considerate Herve was to us; above and beyond. Because the Feb 14 menu was not ready, Herve offered us some of the items that were ready. He did not have to do that but I truly appreciate and recognize the effort he made to try to compromise. In the end, the Feb 14 items and regular menu did not catch our appetites but luckily for us, the French Table were offering specials that night.For appetizers, we had the French Onion soup and the scallops for starters. Hearty broth and gooey cheese with each bite. As for drinks, we had a glass of house red and white wine.For the mains, we had the Pan-seared skirt steak with paprika butter sauce and the Beef Wellington. Oh my goodness, it was the best; cooked to perfection and melted in our mouths. My partner shared a piece of her Beef Wellington with me and later regretted giving me too big of a piece.For dessert, we had the Tart Tartin and the Creme Caramel. Nice, light, and not too sweet to finish off.It was a blessing in disguise. We had a fantastic Valentine's day dinner and couldn't be happier; until Herve topped it off even more that night. Due to the miscommunication of the Feb 14th menu, Herve came by to our table to express his sincerity and apologies of the situation and personally handed us his homemade Blackcurrant jam from his farm in Aldergrove. How sweet is this guy?We left the French Table that night with our bellies and hearts full.The one thing I request of Herve is to share when his team will make the Beef Wellington and Skirt steak specials again because we are definitely coming back!Herve, you are an awesome, knowledgeable, kind, and considerate owner.Thank you so much!
