Awful. If I could give negative stars, I would. Terrible communication, even worse “meals”. Chicken, and pasta are NOT breakfast foods. A garage is not a home. A kitchen is for cooking. Beds SHOULD have fitted sheets. Absolutely awful customer service, and an extremely sketchy company. DO NOT waste your money on these people, you’re better off crashing on a friend’s couch AND paying for it.

We have used Home Sweet Homestay many times in the past and they have always been extremely helpful, sincerely engaged and responsible - providing great placements and going above and beyond to rectify any issue should it arise. We would gladly use their services again.

Here are my concerns with this said business.- poor communication- lack of transparency- fail to deliver- lack of professionalism from main and only managerI would not feel comfortable leaving my child’s well being in the care of this company. Safety is a concern with this operation and authorities should really investigate.

This is the 3rd year they provide home stay agent service to me. This year, after change back to traditional payment with dated cheque to home stay host, everything goes very well. Communication with them are smoothly and they are helpful to all my requirement.The home stay family is very friendly and really nice.

I wanna say Thank you to HSH and to Avie who took care of me since I stepped out of the plane in Vancouver. They did a great job by organizing my domestic flights and host families for the couple days I was staying in Vancouver between my actual ranch stays, and the ranches itself. I really enjoyed my time in Canada and I was really happy and relieved somebody took care me, I definitely would have felt lost in this completly new surroundings. I'm glad I spent my time on the ranches/farms they chose for me and make me wanna come back one day again!If any of my friends are planning to spend some time abroad I would always recommend HSH to them.Saying this, Happy Mushing!

The biggest disappointment ever. Do not believe what you read on the website! A mattress on a concrete floor is not a room. Food left out on a table for days on end surely doesn’t pass health inspections. But worst of all, a manager that knowingly ignores phone calls and emails. Don’t do it!!

If I could give negative stars I would. I've been crying every night since I got to Victoria because of this company. I hired the company to find me a homestay in Victoria for September 22, after the 14 days of quarantine. I arrived in Victoria September 06, without any information about the host, they don't answer my emails (I've sent more than one, starting one month ago), now they don't return my calls, today is September 13, I'm supposed to move September 22 and they didn't find me a host, the most important part is that I ALREADY PAID. Now I don't have my money and don't have a place to stay. I need answers

Fabulous experience from start to finish. I needed accommodation for an out of town relative with very little notice. Home-Sweet-Homestay made all the arrangements almost immediately and we couldn't have been more pleased with the results. We were arranged an amazing family (we love you Karen!), super comfortable room, great food- the house was a bit farther than we'd have liked, but it was well worth it.
