Wasn’t sure what I was getting into. But the after the personal greeting at the secure door, being walked through the labyrinth of artistic inspiration, a wine-serving DJ with a couple corny jokes, and a quick glance at this repurposed industrial building …. I’m happy to say that I was hooked! Straightforward instruction with gentle but practical feedback from the instructors. I was surprised at how my pieces actually showed improvement over the two hour date. Highly recommend!

I had the most enjoyable time taking level 1Pottery classes with Lael. It was fun learning a new skill in a chill environment. Such great vibes in the Workshop Studio!

I recently took hand building level 1 with Claire. Not only was her teaching technique clear and precise , she managed to teach us new and useful hand building methods at the beginning of every class. She also demystified the scary looking machine called the “slab roller” hahaha.

Wowowowow. I was kind of wary and didn't know what to expect. Thought it was a little pricey, but was excited anyways. WORKSHOP STUDIOS DID NOT DISSAPPOINT. Four hours has never gone by SO FAST.My husband and I went for the valentines event, and omg. First of all, what a BEAUTIFUL space. I was blown away. But then they also had champagne for us with fruit on entry. And a DJ?! Unlimited (within reason lol) wine?! Ample charcuterie from peasant cheese!? Like enough to feed everyone almost a full dinner's worth of charcuterie?! Those things alone more than justified the cost. But then the teachers were lovely. There was so much staff to help and give tips and make sure you were having fun and creating something. They also took cute polaroids of each of us to keep, which was very cute. We got to pick four pieces to keep and have glazed. I CANNOT wait to go again and I think I might try ti book their long term classes just to be in that space again and make more things. The only things I would change would be to let us know that we would be making pottery with both wheel-spinning and hand building. I'm not a fan of hand building and came for the wheel spinning, so was a little sad that I had to do slab clay at all. I ended up picking two vessels that I made on the wheel to keep, which is totally fine. My husband preferred the hand building anyways lol.I also would have appreciated more variety of colours for glazing. I kept my pieces unpainted because I didn't want to use the black and pink that they offered. But overall 1000000/10 would recommend and we WILL be going back.

Amazing classes, love the studio and environment, the techs are great, and the instructors lovely. However, the number of date night and private classes in conjunction with the 1h buffer before and after every event/class really restricts the amount of open studio time you have access to, unless you are a night owl (10pm or later) or don't work 9-5. Either way, I'm taking more classes because I love it so much, but that's my one critique. <3

Workshop studios has created something incredibly special! The creative community found within is unparalleled. And the atmosphere is definitely inspiring with tall ceilings and plants EVERYWHERE. If you're into clay - you need to check it out! They offer classes, date-nights, private events, as well as long term memberships and artist studios to rent. And even if clay isn't your thing, they also host amazing workshops! I can't say enough good things about it.My life has truly changed since finding it ❤️

I love love this space and concept. I've taken 1 course and I am totally hooked. The space is cool, the staff and teacher are so kind. The cost is sooooo reasonable considering what you get in the end. 100/10

This place can do no wrong. Beautiful open space for any creative minds to express their art in pottery. The programs here are throughly thought out, the instructors are funny and knowledgeable. Students follow strict rules about tidying up their own space and keep clean for everyone. I'm so impressed and feeling lucky to get into the program.
