Malahat Bungalows Motel

Honestly, this motel was a blessing. Everything else was booked (even the worst things I’ve seen) and we suddenly found there was one room left at Malahat! When we arrived, the owner had already prepared our keys and check in was so fast. The room was already a little bungalow (#7) and it was fully equipped to cook and chill. It was so clean and comfortable. The towels smelled really nice too ! Bottom line, we loved our stay and now we feel refreshed and ready to carry on our trip to Victoria !

Cute cabins that are perfect if you need a long term stay. Nice and clean and with a mini kitchen with all the supplies you need. Very pretty grounds and handy to the highway.

Honestly not what we expected at all. Right by the highway and it’s extremely loud. No view of the ocean and nothing to explore at walking distance. The motel would be perfect in a different location honestly. Super clean and really cute with big trees on the property but too loud.. Not worth 217$ a night.

The owner is incredible, accommodated our early check in and very friendly. The property is very well kept and the room was spotless. We will be staying here again!

I recently had a horrible experience at this place. They canceled my reservation at the very last moment, leaving me without a place to sleep.Booking explained me that they accepted more bookings than available spots on a very busy weekend and then cancelled us on the very same day of arrival.The staff members were unprofessional and completely indifferent to my concerns and failed to provide any assistance when they realised they had left me without a place to stay for the night.I strongly advise anyone considering staying at this establishment to think twice. The poor treatment, coupled with the last-minute cancellation, created a truly unpleasant and distressing situation. Save yourself the headache and look for alternative accommodations that prioritize their guests' comfort and satisfaction.

Very quaint and affordable cottage style motel rooms. Very nicely groomed landscape and cute looking cottages. Only real problem is the noise from the nearby highway. The owner is awesome and very friendly
