Meadow Green Apartments

Worst place to live in Saskatoon. I have water leaking from the ceiling form 2 months and nobody cares. Maintenance enters your unit without notice. Still they issue remains. People are smoking in the hallways and on stairs. Homeless sleeping in the laundry room and in front of the door. Late night people keep buzzing the intercom. And random people knock on your doors sometimes. I went to their office a dozen times. People are lining up with issues. Bed bugs , pest infestation and every issue imaginable exists in these buildings and nobody cares.

Ive had 2 different apartments with this company over the past few years and so far my experience hasn't been all the greatest. Ive found it nearly impossible to get ahold of my landlord in both places and the apartment I just recently moved into wasn't properly cleaned at all which really surprised me with this whole covid thing going on.Update: I had messaged the building manager about bedbugs in the apartment multiple months ago and JUST NOW got the response of “would you like to renew your lease? I can rent the apartment out to someone else”.. I am absolutely disgusted.Highly wouldn’t recommend.

So many unprofessional employees who Give you the run around or just treat the tenants like they don’t matter. They do not answer phone calls or texts.I have lived at 906 Duchess street for a few months and each encounter I have had with the building manager has been so unprofessional I don’t know how she keeps her job. She makes her own office hours and does not follow the standard office hours that are posted on the website or the office doors.Since the beginning of December 2020 our building has not had heat. I have reached out to Mainstreet multiple times and have been told “the part is on the way” “ it will be fixed today” or just plain lied to and told “ the heat is now fixed”I have called corporate office in Calgary and was hung up on. We still have no heat and the building manager does not seem to care.Do not rent from these guys unless you want to be treated like you don’t matter and like your just a rent cheque to them while they do not care about the well being of their tenants.

By far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Random charges showed up on my account more than once; entire building was infested with cockroaches for months at a time; woke up to find addicts sleeping in the halls outside my door on multiple occasions; needles and other garbage consistently filled the stairwells; and then they no showed on my move out inspection and now invent damages so they don’t have to pay my deposit back. Awful units and awful service. Wish I could give them 0 because 1 star seems far too generous.

I have been living in this apartment for almost two years. There is a long list of things that were broken when I moved in that were never fixed (closet door, intercom, ceiling fan, oven light). Also the soap holder has a chunk taken out of it and it’s sharp. I’ve already cut myself on it badly once. Told the manager of these things when I first moved in but they’ve never been dealt with. My heat has been out for three days now and no word of when it’ll get fixed. The price is good at least. That’s the only good thing about living here.Just recently had the hot water stop working for the entire building and it took them a week to deal with it and gave us no notice of what was happening until multiple apartments complained over a couple days span. There was also something leaking into the hallway that was flooding the hallway more and more and it took two weeks before they dealt with it. People who live above are constantly blaring music y’all day long and management can’t do anything other than talk to them which just ends up making them worse. I’m moving out of here as soon as I can.Building is the one on Pinehouse Place.

Steer clear of mainstreet everyone. They don't take care of their buildings and have cockroaches everywhere. Most poorly managed company I have ever worked for as well.

Overall my experience with Mainstreet has been positive.The negative is the on site property managers. The current one and the one before did not seem to care about the tenants at all. Hard to get ahold of and when you can speak to them you get the run around for when the requested work will be done.The building maintenance staff, who get the work done, are for the most part, fantastic.The grounds maintenance staff on the other hand are absolutely terrible. No snow removal for an entire week plus. Garbage not picked up around the property.

DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANYI viewed three places and they weren't even in presentable" condition. One room had glass on the floor

Building on Temperance has flooded 2 times now in 6 days I’m told it was fixed but still is not fixed nothing has been fixed or cleaned. Front entry stinks now mold will be growing. Nobody come to fix anything and washing machines all out of order. Building manager has never fixed anything (Nitin) and rude and I was talking to fire man about fire hazards and building hazards due to flooding and he said they will be big issues with nitin soon

Tanisha is the worst property manager you could have, she does not care about anything let alone her tenants. We were told it was safe, come to find it was the complete opposite. Tanisha is a major issue and will make your life feel not worth living
