This hotel is one of the best in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't be disappointed.Treated both me and my dog like welcome guests. Rooms were excellently sound proofed, we didn't hear anyone all night. Bed was extra comfy. Front desk was helpful with all our questions.

Rooms were a decent size and complimentary water was made available. The ability to control the thermostat was great. Did not fulfil our request for adjoining rooms despite us being willing to move to any floor but we made due. The bathtub was slow to drain so you had to stand in dirty water while you showered. The staff were kind and informative. Walking distance from the market and tons of restaurants.

When we first arrived in our room, there was loud drilling due to the construction that was quite disturbing. We called the front desk and they moved us to a higher floor immediately, with no issues. The higher floor was wonderful, we stayed for 6 nights. Lots of space in our room, and the staff was professional and courteous. Security guards were friendly and joked around with me often. Rooms are a bit outdated, but we had so much space we didn’t care. Bathtub drained slowly, but room was clean and well stocked. Perfect location! We didn’t have to drive anywhere. We took a few walks to Parliament Hill, and the shopping mall. I would stay here again when we return.

Got to say, the valet situation is letting the hotel down. All is resolved and I'm grateful to the management team for making up for the error, but my car keys were lost. For hours. I was late to a reservation and was concerned for hours they had lost my key and I'd have to figure out getting home to Hamilton without my primary key. Total and utter disorganization.

I had always stayed at Sheraton Hotels long ago, but they are in real need of upgrading and renovating their hotels since staying at this latest one this week. I feel thier rooms, and facilities are stuck in the 1960s and 70's.

chose this venue for a concert. horrible service. on the hottest day of the year you would think they would have prepared the ac to be working. when asked for a fan because room was so hot they bring a blanket. then only after reserving the room AND paying 30$ per person for a breakfast they advise the pool is closed - again hottest day of year. on top of all this they still charged us 30$ each for parking did not offer anything for any inconvenience and staff was terribly rude. best part, no where to get food nearby after 10pm unless you uber and with traffic during an event downtown would have waited over an hour. terrible.

Great hotel, clean, well priced and we'll located. It's not the Ritz, but you know that. Does the job well and you can park on the street for free on the weekend. No need to valet :)

Recently, I used Airbnb mainly, and after a long time, I used the Sheraton Ottawa Hotel of Marriot. The location was great, the parking was convenient, and the breakfast was delicious. Of course, the rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly.

Nice hotel, helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was very nice with a good selection of options. Menu items were good too.Room was clean and prepared nicely. Parking garage was under construction but the valet service was still available; great service by the valets.

I hate to say that but it might be the worst Marriott hotel I’ve ever see, very disappointing experience.The only thing which is consistent with a ‘Sheraton’ standard is the location. The receptionist was occupational courteous but absolutely lacking of training. We’d booked & prepaid though an agency, still got charged again when checking in, the funny thing is we’d been informed that it was just a 100 dollar deposit. It turned out to be Three $500 charges and we might have to pay it if we didn’t check credit card bill by chance. Reached out to hotel asking for refund as well as expressing our confuse and displease. Get no refund yet and no apologies but only lame excuse. The pool was closed for construction during our stay, without any workers’ presence. Valet parking was mandatory, so trying to avoid rush hour of checking out, we waited 40 mins for our car. Very sloppy house keeping service, even no tissue refill.
