Used Design Experts for a full home HVAC design. Matt was very responsive and I received a very comprehensive HRV design and heat load calculation. Turn around was within a couple days, which i would consider very top notch service. Would recommend to anyone building a custom home. Do not trust your contractor to provide heat load summaries, get it done right, and you will be able to significantly reduce the size of your heating equipment for lower purchase cost and improved operating efficiency!

I once asked them to design duct system for my old house. They asked me to provide them the floor plan, the elevation and the cross-section info of the house, the wall insulation values, the R-value of my window, the furnace model and its BTU, bathroom exhaust fan info, air exchanger info, and etc.They told me that they will use those data as input to their computer software to get an output, and give it to me as their HVAC design. What a GIGO (garbage in and garbage out) process!They explained to me that their design is really and only taking care of the size of my duct system. My duct contractor and I has to take care of layout (namely the design!) of duct system, e.g. how to run supply and return trunk, and # of supplies & returns, and etc.

Matthew and his team are extremely professional and we cannot recommend their services enough. They are conscientious of timelines and always work in the best interest of their clients. We have been fortunate enough to watch them grow and will continue to support them.

If I could give me them 0 start I would. Contacted them in December to get an MDR report for a building permit. Provided them with all the information, sent them all the drawings. they said it would take 2-3 weeks to get a quote. contacted them back in January and up until now I have not received anything. Just a total waste of time. Try calling them on their extensions (201,202,203) and you get nothing but a straight voicemail. never respond to your call, nor emails. Good luck getting anything from these guys.
