A. B. Lucas Secondary School

This school sucks. Teachers here only likes certain type of people. Guidence council can't do their job as they forces and MISGUIDE the student with their pathway. Principal is not any better. They only care about the academic students with high mark, and doesn't care about the rest who are not academically developed. If you're a any kind of art student, this school will be horrible for you. Go to beal instead where they support all kinds of students. This school, Lucas is very judgemental. Not just education wise but also sexuality way too. This school will eventually gets in to your personal business and make you feel worthless/helpless.

Big place. Football field looks nice. Parking lot is kinda funky but it works.

Pretty good school if you try hard and don't have one of the few bad teachers. Personally my favorite teachers who really bolstered my love for learning are Mr. Menhinick, Mr. Crewdson, Mr. Fletcher (even tho he is a bit of a meme), and Mr. Luscombe. Shoutout to Mr. Hayes for being a weird angry man but a fun, bombastic history teacher. Another shoutout to Mr. Holowitz for sparking my love for singing and boosting my self-confidence in choir. Also thanks to Ms. Oliver for being a wonderful English teacher! Not to mention having a harry potter literature courseThe amenities are fine, nice cafeteria and amazing, cheap, tuesday-only mega chocolate chip cookies made fresh, decent gym, general cleanliness is fine, and the library is pretty nice but a bit cramped during busy times. I had Salyga as my guidance counsellor and she was fine, helped me choose the right courses to get into the program I wanted and accommodated class switching.The community is hit or miss but I didn't witness any severe bullying maybe mild. If you love football this is a great school or any sports really, there is a literal hall of fame of lucas graduates in professional sports.

The staffs I met were nice and helpful. I look forward to an amazing time there.

The teachers only care about the students who are academically succeeding. They need to start caring about everyone else. -Good clubs and sports though.

The school is fine, good and bad teachers just like any other school. Think the amount of math homework is a bit excessive though. Enjoyed music, tech, and history class the most

Honestly? I love this school. Friendly staff (for the most part, at least), a good community, and a secure building (it was built to withstand a nuclear blast!). The staff is actually caring, and... ...Well... ...The support staff is absolutely AMAZING. ...I would not be alive right now was it not for them, and it made my time WAY easier here. ...I'm not joking, the support staff is amazing. ...Just don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. All in all, it's a great school, and I'm happy that I went here.
