Came in just to look at some engagement rings, and surely was literally the best person ever. Ever. She showed us all kinds of gemstone rings that we asked her to and helped us pick out the perfect ring! Thank you so much Shirley! You're the best!

Purchased a wedding band from Peoples back in December 2022 and absolutely loved it. Early January 2023, we went to take a look at the ring before sending it off to their jeweller for re-sizing. The Sales Associate mentioned there was an even bigger discount on the ring so she returned the item and re-charged us for the new ring. We appreciated her trying to help us save money, but this was where all the trouble started..We noticed the new receipt didn’t include their “diamond guarantee/bond”. However, after the SA reassured us that we will be fine as long as we bring the ring in for inspection or prong tightening every so often, we decided to move forward with the resizing (to which the SA mentioned after it gets resized we cannot return the item).A few days later the SA calls to let us know the Regional Manager told her that the ring was so heavily discounted that they would not offer the Diamond guarantee, which didn’t make sense because that was not stated anywhere in their policy.Upset about this news, we went straight to the store to talk to the SA, only to have her say “the same thing happened to [her] other client (no Diamond guarantee) and plus, their ring is much nicer and more expensive than ours so it’s worse for them”.This wasn’t even the worst part! When we received the ring after resizing, we had barely left the store when we noticed an entire prong missing (marked red in the pic), all the other prongs uneven and shaven flat (marked blue in the pic), and the diamonds were crooked. The SA stared at it for a good 5 mins with the magnifying glass and even tried to tell me that it’s not, or “it’s supposed to be like that”. We requested that she send it back to the jeweller to fix and for them to take their time because we don’t want a bad quality ring.My fiancé and I were upset about this incident for days. We even went online to chat with the People’s customer service and 3 different individuals confirmed there should be a Diamond guarantee on the ring.That’s when we realized the Diamond guarantee was included on the original receipt (before we refunded and recharged us), and that it was likely taken off when she returned and recharged us for the ring.This made us even more upset because the SA and the Regional Manager was BSing and not even following their own policy. We went in the next morning to return the ring, along with the other jewelry we purchased from Peoples.1000000/10 DO NOT recommend and will never go back to Peoples.
