Brant Children's Centre

My son has been at BCC since he was 2 (he’s now 5) and we have been so happy with our decision to put our trust in them and their team – we are grateful that he is in such wonderful hands. The staff are absolutely incredible (from the teachers to the cooks to the support staff) – they are dedicated, kind, attentive, engaging and caring and many have been there for years. My son loves going to ‘school’ every day and thrives in the structured environment; the children learn not just educational curriculum but there is also a focus on building and fostering independence, and life/social skills that are important to me as a parent – manners, kindness to others, problem-solving, community, environment, etc. The most important thing to me (especially at this younger age), is that my son always comes home with a smile on his face and is excited to share stories about his day.

Brant Children's is such a special place! I've had all 3 of my kids go to Brant over the last 8 years and BCC has been a true constant for our family. The teachers have become an extension of our family, always looking out for the kids learning development as well as overall wellbeing, happiness and health. Brant helped identify that our one son needed glasses and as a result he's excelled his learning by this discovery. I cannot say enough great things about the Brant team and the care they've provided for my kids. Bravo to you Brant! You will always hold a special place in our hearts! xo

The staff at Brant Children's Centre are dedicated to the happiness of their children! The Centre has a warm family feel with extra attention placed on the benefits of learning. Dr. Heather and staff recognize the importance of comprehensive learning skills and they partner with their families to ensure the overall experience for their students is amazing. I have worked at Brant Children’s Centre over 17 years. I am very proud to call this place family. We run a learning based program that allows all children to flourish. The relationships that we build, not only with the children but with the families makes Brant a place where very one feels welcomed.

I have been trusting Brant Children’s Centre with caring for my two daughters over a span of the last six and a half years.There is not a better daycare in my view than Brant. Janine and Sendi are wonderful.The centre is clean, they serve fresh cooked, nutritious food cooked by the wonderful Ms. Rachel.We have been so happy with the experience that our older daughter was a part of their private JK and SK program, and we are happy our younger daughter will be doing the same.I’d love if the hours for pickup went back to pre-pandemic hours of 6:00pm instead of 5:30, and I’d love if the kids concerts came back. I am on the fence about drop off and pickup outside - on one hand, it avoids the time of undressing and dressing your kid, but on the other hand I feel I had better relationships with the parents in my older daughters class as a result of waiting around for your kid to get ready. Made building relationships with your kids friends a bit easier.We had a short period pre-pandemic where our younger daughter had to go to a different daycare in Burlington. I won’t name it, but I hated every minute of it compared to the wonderful experience at Brant.Thanks Brant!

Our children have been attending Brant Children's Centre for coming up on 2 years now, and we feel so blessed to have found such an incredible daycare centre to entrust with our kiddos. In our time there, we have seen very minimal turn over (mostly just the student placements each year, and that's expected of course!). Mr. Janine and Ms. Sendi have been amazing to communicate with, and have always helped us navigate any challenges with such support and encouragement. A special shout out to Ms. Heather and Ms. Debbie, who we have now had the pleasure of having both of our kids in their class. They both just have that special ability to bond with the kids, and encourage their independence in such a safe space. Between the amazing meals Ms. Rachel prepares day in and day out (I often get our kids to eat new dinners I am trying out by saying This is Ms. Rachels famous recipe" to which they don't even question and just eat it!)

I can't say enough about Brant. The quality of education, support, caring and overall experience is second to none for the children (and the parents)! I'm so thankful to the long time staff at Brant for affording my daughter an amazing start to her educational journey and for supporting her through the start of her journey through the trials and tribulations of life! We're graduating this year from SK and I don't know who is more devastated, my daughter or me! I'll forever be grateful to our time at Brant Children's Centre.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at BCC! The teachers and staff are lovely and they have a program that helps bring out the best in young children - we can see that our daughter is learning and growing every day. They also have a large outdoor play area and prioritize time in nature which is so important for the kids. Choosing the right childcare provider is one of the toughest yet most important decisions a parent can make and we would absolutely recommend BCC to anyone seeking a safe, inspiring, and happy place for their little ones.

The brant childrens centre is an amazing school for young children! Since starting there, we have watched our daughter flourish, both socially and academically. She amazes us everyday with how much she knows, including her social skills, numbers and language, fine and gross motor activities, even French and yoga! They have wonderful teachers and support staff that are very experienced, and know how to bring out the strengths and confidence in children. They provide monthly calendars so you know what they are learning, and you can build off that at home. Our daughter comes home every day saying how much she loves school, which is so important to us. She even likes the food!
