Petrie Island Park
Good, quick and very pleasant nature park. The activities are fun for the kids as well. Good area to play volleyball and have fun with the frisbee. Nice conservation area...very scenic and peaceful. Parking isn't pricey and beach area are descent. The facilities are mess, but everyone needs to use common sense when keeping washrooms clean. Good times and memories. And as a bonus sometimes with live bands.

Nice spot, there are a few beach areas and a conservation area that is a nice walk. The down side if you drive it's pay parking.

Beautiful place to explore on your walk through the trail. Swimming area is great for children and also cantine to buy food and drinks picnic tables. Pets not allowed.

Petrie Island Park
Arrived late in the evening to see tons of people playing volleyball and other sports. Walked around for a while and watched the sun setting. Nice place to spend some time no matter what your up to.

Petrie Island is very popular especially in the summer.Great place for families and friends gathering, convenient for a quick swim with parking and restroom available. An absolutely beautiful location not far from downtown Ottawa. There are several tiny beach like spots on this Island park where you could spend the whole day.Much of the area is protected for the wild life so be sure to follow the signs.

Wonderful beach, nature, with good amenities.Close to a few bays, rentals, and an onsite catina which served a really decent jerk chicken.The water is part of the Big Ottawa, with lots of space to find your own spot. Bring a beach umbrella if you dont like sun - not a lot of shade by the water/beach.

My favorite place to visit in Orleans. It is our small hidden gem! Many sandy beaches and lovely trails. Natural reserve with a variety of animal species. Turtle pond is a great quiet spot for water turtle sighting. Many things to do including hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and what I love the most is reading in a quiet spot and watching sunsets. Sunsets are amazing and special there where you can also walk the beach barefoot and listen to the sound of the waves. Parking is 2$/day until 6 pm. Many parking spots, picnic tables, benches and a small play structure. washrooms available during summer.
