I took a few pairs of jeans to have holes repaired. They were properly reinforced, but the edges of the holes were not brought together and the colour of thread used did not match the jean it was used on. The thread lines used to reinforce are also perpendicular to the thread pattern on the jean. And the reinforcing material is exposed, and untapered on the inside, making the repair look cringingly obvious. I've known tailors that would easily make these jeans look like brand new, but now they are ruined. Nice couple, but would not recommend them for a patch job in the future.

May is one of the kindest people I have ever met. I had recently bought an overcoat and checked many different tailors on how much they charge and how long they would take to alter the coat. I went to The Top Stitch and immediately was greeted by May and was given a reasonable time for pick up and a phenomenal price for alterations. I 10/10 recommend this place if you need alterations. Will visit again.

The owners are very experienced and knowledgeable at what they do. I have had many personal and work clothes tailored by the lady, including pants, dresses, tops, and a leather jacket repair. She does share her opinions generously and is quite straight forward in the delivery of her suggestions, which I find refreshing, but some people might find that rude". For me

Fairly good; consistently use to hem new pants, with generally good results, at a fair price. The wait is sometimes more than one would want, depending on how busy they are (the longest wait I had was in June -- 9 days), but just plan accordingly.

They're great. Adjusted a peacoat sleeves including the buttons, and hemmed some pants. The quality is great, the measurements were perfect. The lady there is pretty funny. Also the prices are very reasonable - better than other places

I would not suggest this place. I went here for altering my dress. The lady here was rude and didn't even want to listen to me properly, very inappropriate behaviour to a customer. Questioning my choices and the price she said was not reasonable at all.

What a great experience today. I called to see if they would be able to sew my son's name bar on his new hockey jersey, the very kind lady said she could do it right away, dropped it off and it was done in less than an hour! Definitely recommend, and will be using The Top Stitch again.
