Avoid this place, this is like a military base not daycare !!The toxic environment,It is ridiculous this place is not have any safety for children, especially to their mental health. Nicky who is also the owner of FAMC ) is very unprofessional with parents and children. She makes fun of parents when they asked questions especially the first day of the daycare tour which was happened to us , hopefully, my daughter just had only one day with this toxic environment but I feel sad for those family who they have kids there, please avoid !!!!

From the moment we toured FAMC, we knew this would be a place our son would love. It is clean with a warm atmosphere where learning is fun and safe. We particularly liked the educational element of the program. The price was reasonable compared to others we looked at.Soon our child was coming home singing O Canada, reciting the alphabet and numbers in Spanish, singing children’s songs (including one in Spanish), and showing off his new dance moves (while singing along in English and even Mandarin).After attending FAMC for just over two years, we especially appreciate that the teachers tailored some of the lesson materials to the individual child. For some children, Mathematics is learning to recognize and write numbers. For others, the teachers recognized they were already comfortable with numbers, ready for addition, subtraction, and possibly even multiplication concepts.The Principal took the time to send general updates, photos and videos of what the children did in class each day.It was such a joy to watch the program the children and teachers worked so hard to prepare for the Graduation Ceremony. The children sang many songs with actions, danced, and even had some students display their math and reading skills.Our son thoroughly enjoyed his time at FAMC, including the optional lunch program. He especially loved Fieldtrip Fridays during the summer months.We would not only recommend parents to choose FAMC to kickstart their child’s education, but also hope to send our second child there soon.

Strongly not recommend FAMC for any kids, if I can put zero star, I would have done that.Despite of all the positive reviews, please read the negative reviews and imagine that could happen to you or your child. Think about it, do you want to take that risk?The principal Nicky is extremely rude and abusive. There have been a lot of complaints filed against her already. During the tour, she was nice and made many empty promises, but after we got enrolled and paid everything, her attitude changed, she always breaks what she said and blame on the others, she keeps changing her mind which is hard to follow. Her behaviours are highly affected by her mood and can be really rude when she’s in a bad mood. Can’t imagine how this will affect the kids mentally.I don’t feel safe to place my child at this place while Nicky even displays such behaviours in front of parents. The children can witness everything she does including being rude, verbal abusive and emotional unstable. I can’t imagine how much the children at FAMC can learn from witnessing these behaviours.

FAMC, for us, is more than a daycare, they are like a family. I must say that the beginning was not easy (first child), but today when I look back and after experiencing other daycares, I truly think they are doing an amazing job with the children. I don't think there is a school with this level of attention to detail in its educational program, daily routine, and hygiene measures.It is a very controlled environment that inspires in children the security and order they need to grow and mature in a balanced way. My daughter leaves every day the school happy and, at the same time, content and talking about the entire FAMC team and her colleagues as if they were part of her family.Weekly language classes are given such as Spanish, Mandarin, and French, furthermore a wide variety of educational subjects such as Geography, Mathematics, Writing, and different disciplines such as Yoga or Tai Chi. Art classes are amazing, the theme parties throughout the year are unlike anything I've ever seen, and the weekly summer field trips are unforgettable.On the other hand, FAMC has achieved what few daycares achieve in this industry lately and is to keep the same great team of teachers on staff for years while offering the same level of commitment to learning every year as if it were the first day they opened.All this is only possible thanks to one person, Miss Nicky, the owner, and the principal. This bright, intelligent, and also strong-willed, straight-minded woman is the brains behind this incredible and, no doubt, overwhelming project that many days leaves her exhausted. I can't imagine what it must be like to carry out a project like this at this level of service and also deal with parents' demands.Parents (sometimes selfish, emotional, and not very empathetic, me first, of course) cannot ask these professionals more, because otherwise, this type of project would disappear or would stop offering the quality of learning and attention that offers to our children. We, as parents, had to take a step back and trust the team of teachers, and we do not regret it. The evolution of our daughter in all aspects since she started in this daycare has been remarkable.I want to thank the whole FAMC team, because they are really great, specifically to Miss Nicky, for her daily demands on parents, teachers, and children, which makes it possible to keep offering this excellent service despite all the difficult times she has had to live lately with parents who have lost their manners and temper with her, even in front of our children.Also thank Miss Sarah, for her great humanity with our little family, who even offered to stay with our oldest daughter during the birth of our second child, since our family could not travel on time due to the lockdown. And also, for her patience and all the love she gives daily to our little ones, she is the genuine heart of FACM.Our review of FACM has five stars because we not only value an excellent team of professionals or good service but because of the wonderful team of people who deserve our respect and admiration for the vocation and commitment they show 365 days a year. ♥

Amazing school! My oldest son has just graduated from FAMC after more than 2 years there, and my younger son is currently attending school. He loves going to school a lot. Ms. Nicky, and all the teachers at FAMC, are very caring, patient, and loving.

This is an amazing daycare and one of the best in Richmond. The teachers are all very professional and makes all the children happy! Everyday my daughter brings home a new piece of art and is always happy when she I pick her up. The daycare is also very close to a park so the children always get to go on picnics. Ms. Nicky (the principle) is very attentive and interactive with her students, and always finds a way to help the children learn and have fun! The teachers are all very patient with the children and they always have a kind attitude which makes all the kids happy. Our family loves FAMC.

Our experience with FAMC has been fantastic from the beginning.The teachers are excellent, thoughtful, super caring, super patient, and reliable. The place is well maintained and very clean, There are many activities in this daycare.My daughter were there for over two years, and for sure the second one will be there. We enjoyed every single day, the environment is cozy and warm. We were expected a difficult time when she first started. The teachers were super nice to comfort her, hold her and pat her to help with the transition. Only after 3 days, she was getting used to the new environment and made a lot of friends.We were so pleased with the level of care that our daughter received.l never have enough words to describe how excellent and super patient are the teachers with a place full of lovely kids, just when I imagine, time to study, activities, nap, washroom etc..Special Thanks to Ms. Nicky she listens to parents concerns, despite all the overwhelmed she taking care of as administration.We highly recommend FAMC to all parents looking for a safe, great place for their kids.

The store behind the 1-star FAMC - if possible I would remove all the stars...Our son attended this school for just over a year. The teachers were great, and I would genuinely give 5/5 stars. But the environment is so toxic; it’s owned and governed by a “dictator” who called herself “Principle” Nicky. She is well known to many parents for her unstable and unpredictable mood swings. She talks to parents like we have no clue about parenting. If parents ask her “stupid” questions (according to her), she would respond with anger, eye-rolling and sometimes with profanity. She’s also been making racist comments about Chinese parents being “dumb” for not understanding English and following her instructions. Ironically, Nicky’s English is so poor and her writing is full of grammatical errors.Several parents have been faced with a breach of confidentiality situation by Nicky who talks behind their back about their children’s health conditions. As I’m writing this review, a complaint has been filed through Vancouver Coastal Health against Nicky for being racist, neglecting, abusive, and offensive. She is currently being investigated over a recent incident involving my son’s safety and health under her supervision at the time. Unfortunately, Nicky found out about the complaint and was furious about it. Our argument ended with her forcing me to withdraw my son from school as of today (Aug 24, 2022).So I accepted the withdrawal and demanded to have my security deposit, lunch money and the remaining of the Aug tuition fee to be returned within 1 business day. But she’s denied the request and wanted more time due to inconvenience. Funny… how she didn’t blink an eye when she forced me to withdraw my son from school.Parents, there are many better daycare centres in the neighbourhood but FMAC is not a place you would want to get yourself and your children involved if Nicky is still running the business.Best of luck!Dad Love.

Amazing and responsible teachers. The school environment is also very tidy and creative, bringing joy and positivity to students everyday. For my experience in FAMC since I was around 5, I have never forgotten the loving experience at this school even until now, 15 years later. Even until today I am very much inspired by Miss Nicky, the principal of FAMC. Thank you for all!
