Bought the Butter Chicken lunch special and the lamb lunch special. Both were well worth buying. You try this once and you will go back! Plus you will definitely tell others. Both lunch specials come with a nan bread and rice plus a chicken thigh or drumstick a little bit of lettuce, baby carrots a little bit of cucumber and bits of radish. I put a little bit of the butter chicken gravy on the tiny salad. The meal is filling and really tasty. I was there 2 weeks ago, always great food.

I quite enjoyed it. I found the portions were good. It was flavorful, I was happy with my meal, I feel like there could have been more chicken pieces in the butter chicken. There aren't many tasty spots for Indian restaurants I find in the Sud ouest area so I'm happy I found here when I get a craving.

Very reasonably priced (especially for the Thalis!) & delicious Indian food with great service. Will be back!

I absolutely love this place. While the façade and the interior aesthetics are unassuming, the food is genuine and delicious. In my opinion this is a charming spot and an excellent opportunity to eat authentic Indian food without spending too much. This is the best food at the lowest price. Worth a visit!

Great food and good value as always. Friendly and attentive (if somewhat amateur) service. The head waitress/manager was almost rude when we showed up without a reservation 10 minutes after calling to ask if we could come right away without a reservation. Odd.

Worse Indian food ever ! Please DO NEVER EVER AGAIN send burnt old re-fry onion bhaji to your customers ! Your tandoori is tasteless! Your kahari is salty and not good . Make me wonder if this is even an Indian food . I never reviews , but this is soo bad no good We both got food poisoning after eating here. We ordered gobi Chana Masala, and Paneer Tikka Masala. The Chana Masala was strangely sweet that i have to write something no good

Loved our evening at Palais d’Ajit. Service was quick and efficient, prices were reasonable. We tried the veggie samosas, onion bahji, vegetable tali, butter chicken and of course naan bread. Everything tasted amazing, the butter chicken was spicier than at other Indian places I’ve tried. Highly recommend for great Indian food in the south-west of Mtl :)

We ordered chicken pakora, samosas and thali. All the items were good. But it can me made more spicy. All the dishes had low spice levels. Overall, a good inexpensive place for Indian food.

Honestly, I feel bad giving this family restaurant a 1 star review, and I usually don't do this as I come often from Ottawa and enjoy their food only. Notice how I said food... Food is amazing and quite affordable. However, service is beyond awful. Let me share what happened - my table ordered food , and the owners wife served our plate. There was a full glass of Mango Lassi on our table, that she dropped all over the table and then picked it up and cleaned it. That's ok, things happen.BUT, the lady asked if we wanted another once, since that one was practically wasted. We said yes sure, and we're pleased with it. That being said, when we paid our bill, we noticed they charged us for not 1 mango lassi, but TWO?!!?! It's not about the $5 that went down the drain.. but it's a matter of principle. Like come on, COVID gave us tough times, but you don't need to cheat your customers like that?? Unfortunately I will never go back and will have to find another Indian restaurant in MTL, which thankfully isn't hard to do. Watch you BILL people, these people will rip you off with a decent smile.
