Saga Recording

I have been recording songs with Michael at his Saga Recording Studio since 2008. The studio is extremely well designed. Michael is quick, intuitive and is a very skilled multi-instrumentalist and producer. I heartily recommend Michael for your song projects.

I arranged a recording session for my 3 piece band in April. I spoke with Michael and we talked about what I had in mind.The recording studio was beautiful. A really state of the art place. Micheal made us all feel comfortable and welcome. He set us up in different places, gave us all very cool headphones that we could adjust to hear all the various levels of the instruments. We recorded 10 songs in just over 3 hours.The session went so smoothly we were all very pleased. A week or so later I received the first mix which I was very impressed with. I suggested a few adjustments which Michael fixed. Overall I was very pleased with the recording session and with the. product and the cost was reasonable. I would recommend Saga Studios and would use it again.

Saga Recording has been my go-to studio, as a singer/songwriter, for 11 years and counting! ...and will always be my #1 choice. I've also recorded many projects at Saga Recording with other musicians over the past decade, ranging from Country-Folk to R&B-Soul - I leave every single time with a smile on my face. He is genuine, professional, extremely fair, and a pleasure to work with. Michael is also a musician, and has a wonderfully-amazing ear. I am happy with every recording, year-after-year, every session, and the location near a park (I use to warmup before I arrive) ...I cannot say enough. 5 Stars!

We recently recorded in the Saga Recording studio, and it was an amazing experience! Michael stepped us through the production, recording, mixing, and mastering of our music. He worked with us in an iterative process and the results were far beyond what we expected. Michael has such great musical judgement with highly sensitive ears that brought our music to another level.The studio itself is a gorgeous recording space that is well equipped. It is a wonderful environment that makes it easy to create music. In 2021 I recorded a song I had written, and I've also sung harmony on two larger projects at Saga Studios. Michael can hear super-subtle nuances in sound – not only pitch, but tone, and also know what is missing that would make the sound fuller and more compelling. His attention to detail is total, and yet he is also personable and easy to work with. Michael has connections to top-notch studio musicians, which strengthens his ability to make outstanding recordings. I totally recommend his work.

Saga Recording is a very creative space with gem colours and a beautiful collection of instruments. It was sound proof even when there were workers making noise next door. Michael Nowak in an excellent audio engineer and a great listener. He was very helpful with recording my audiobook. I can highly recommend this studio!
