Melissa is such an amazing teacher! She is always so kind and helpful. I would look forward to going to her afterschool class each week for over four years. She taught me so many drawing skills and helped me improve as an artist.

My daughter had the pleasure of attending class with Melissa on/off over the last couple of years. She was extremely accommodating to our sometimes hectic schedule.Melissa was always professional, and very patient and helpful with the kids. Explaining styles and techniques, and then encouraging my daughter to try, while guiding. We have moved away from the area and unfortunately can no longer attend her classes. We would highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable and an absolute delight to be around!

Melissa’s work is true perfection! Her workmanship and attention to detail is obvious in all her pieces. She has done several portraits for me, including both of my daughters and my dogs. Both of my daughters have taken her portrait drawing class and learned how to add those fine details to their artwork. Her work is exemplary!

I have been taking Melissa’s Art class for about 10 years now. She has taught me everything I know. She taught me how to develop my drawing skills step by step with patience, kindness and a helping hand. Her class was something I looked forward to once a week, I had so much fun there. She helped me create my portfolio for college which I feel set me up for success while I pursue my design career. I would recommend her class to anyone looking to further develop their skills in the arts (sketching) as she is super talented and the best art teacher I have ever had.

Melissa is a great teacher she’s been teaching me since I was young. She explains everything step by step and helps you along the way. She’s taught me how to do art with many different mediums such as pencils, paint, chalk etc.

I've been under Melissa's tutelage ever since I was around eight years of age. Thanks to her instruction, I am now attending Sheridan College's Honours Bachelor of Illustration ten years later.Melissa is a very patient teacher and down-to-earth individual. Her lessons are easy to follow and understand while providing a challenge to those who wish to expand their skills, whether it is through new mediums or tools. If you or your child is interested in the arts, I strongly recommend her as a first instructor.
