It was my first time trying out this restaurant although I had heard so much about it. Now I understand what the fuss was all about. First of all the decor and interior is just amazing. It transforms you into a totally different vibe, an exotic one. It was a Friday night and they had a DJ playing some hits and he was so good! We sat on the terrasse and ordered the chicken Korma wity cheese Naan bread, the samosas and my friend ordered the Pineapple Express drink. Everything was so good!! If you are not used to spices like me, I found the chicken korma a little bit spicier than I expected although I had asked the waitress if it was too spicy and she said it wasn’t.The place was very crowded so it took a good amount of time to get our bill but it was worth it with the good music.Will definitely be trying out other items on their menu!

perfect place for vegetarians! cocktails are spectacular, great taste and presentation. Food is flavourful, ambiance is great indoors, also a nice terrace ( weather permitting). dishes are best ordered with the intention of sharing. Portions can be slightly small, but overall great food.

We were excited to know that India rosa is now close to our place and were waiting to try. Love the vibe and ambience. I walked in so got 2 seats on the bar side (reservations recommended) They work on their cocktails to make them look pretty , I tried one and it was really tasty, it’s an upscale place so ready to spend more than usual.Service was not too slow, everyone was working constantly and giving us updates about the order.It was always bustling specially on weekends, was so loud with everyone talking so don’t expect peaceful cozy dinner.Overall loved the place and food. Will definitely go again.

Amazing tasty Indian food! It took me 15min to find a parking spot and I almost gave up but it was definitely worth the wait !Food: Perfectly cooked paneer with grilled veggies and this delicious green sauce, tender chicken and smooth buttery tomato sauce, onion bahji had a nice kick to it and loved the addition of turmericAtmosphere: the place was full on a Sunday night, great music, fast service, very nice decor (see pictures)

Really neat decor. The food is good but it's not authentic. One can tell meats are cooked separated from the sauce etc. The service is fine. The outdoor chairs were dusty though. Mocktails were good. Sooo expensive, you're definitely paying for the decor and gentrified area. I did not eat much, a shared tapas plate with 3 pieces of cauliflower, a meal and a shared dessert and paid more than 70$! I had a very hard time to digest hence a rough night. I miss my favorite park ex indian restaurant! Authentic, delicious and affordable! Good time overall but I won't be back

Came here for a Birthday dinner and brunch (separately).For the dinner, the food and cocktails are great, but its very pricy. You can get equivalent curry at much cheaper places in Montreal. But if you're looking for a fancy dinner with superb cocktails while eating curry, India Rosa does well.However, while the dinner is expensive, their breakfasts are really great. A bit on the pricier end, but absolutely delicious and good sized servings.Dinner was a 3/5, breakfast a 5/5. Service is always amazing though!

In my journey of trying to find good Indian food in Montreal, I had high hopes for India Rosa - I was hoping we could finally get Indian food as good as what you can find in Toronto and Vancouver.Sadly India Rosa dissapointed, pros and cons below.Pros:- Fantastic atmosphere- Great setup and location- Good list of cocktails (though like a lot of places, 80% of your drink will be ice)Cons:- Mediocre Indian food, not authentic at all and dumbed down for it's audience (very little spice if any)- Extremely long service, 30 minutes for the cocktails and 2 hours to get our main dishes - most tables seemed to not have any food, so it seems like a common problem- Ordered Chicken Biryani, but received it with no chicken. The first reaction from the waitress was to prove it by showing her the dish had no chicken - which it clearly didn't.- Expensive for what you get in terms of taste and portions.I will still hope that one day I can find a great authentic Indian restaurant in Montreal, but for now this is NOT it.

Meal was good, price was bit higher but it was within the range. Presentation was good, decorations were ok. The only thing what bothered me was the LOUD music. It was way too loud to even speak to someone sitting next to u. The staff was very courteous, friendly! I might visit with my family someday.

We came for the brunch today to celebrate a relatives birthday. While the decor and ambiance is quite nice, the dining experience was very hit and miss.Our table tried various options from their brunch menu. Truthfully some of them were quite delicious. However 2 of us had the Butter chicken poached egg which was cold. While the taste was there, the fact that we had a cold meal completely cut our appetite. We told the waitress that it was cold but she didn't do anything, nor did she propose to remake them. Even microwaved would of been better. We should of been more assertive and just ask for our plates to be remade but in the end it cut our appetite and we barely ate half. It just seemed like the had made a batch the day before and couldnt even heat the pot back up.Utterly disappointed in the service and attention to detail from the kitchen for a 28$ plate. However the other options like the waffle chicken and the omelette were good. But the lack of consistency is shocking. Not sure we will return again unless there are improvements.

Amazing food, cocktails, vibe and staff. We came here for my birthday and shared different tapas. The menu is huge and everything looked good, thankfully our waitress Alice helped us make choices and recommended us drinks based on our taste. Everyone was super polite and friendly. The food was tasty and flavourful, we were full and the drinks were super fresh. After dessert we moved to the bar for one last drink and I didn’t know what I wanted (despite their amazing homemade menu). Mitchell, the bartender, made me something special based on my alcohol and taste preferences and it was excellent. The manager Kevin was very pleasant and made sure we had a great time. 10/10 would recommend and will go back again!
