While I wish I didnt have to write this review, my experience with CAS in Sudbury has not been awful. They have a job to do, and they are just trying to do it. We as parents, cannot control malicious false claims against us, but these workers are trained and experienced enough to see through them. I have to say the workers I got (megan fornier) and michelle (sorry last name escapes me at the moment), 2 separate occasions, both pleasant women and very kind, easy to talk to. While it's hard not to feel anxious and judged when CAS knocks at the door, try to keep in mind they are checking in on your child(ren) and want to make sure they're safe. Sometimes, they can open doors for you or speed up wait times when it comes to medical needs aswell! Let them help you if you need it, and if you're a good, hard working parent, you have absolutely nothing to be scared of.

In my opinion this place doesn’t even deserve a single star. I would like to know how you go about the hiring process? And who, if anyone is actually working on behalf of the children and not just your fat pay check..? There is a child that is living in absolute filthy conditions; dirty feminine products around the bathroom, a toilet that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years, a mouse infestation, dirty dishes, moldy fridge with expired food, mountains of clothes piled everywhere. Abusive relationships inside the home. Child being left alone in the mornings. But yet the case is closed.?Do these people even do “investigations” anymore? You need to be mandated by someone other then yourselves because it’s a joke. You’ll never convince me that this crooked organization has the child’s best needs in mind because if they did. I know a child who currently wouldn’t be with their guardian if these people did their jobs.If you have a complaint best of luck but I wouldn’t bother wasting my time

Mr Coolcustomer wrote it all very well. If only CAS Sudbury Ontario followed their own mandate and stop being dishonest.Misleading the courts and bullying and obstructing justice and inventing a case. Judge has said no but CAS house lawyer is out for money not child protectionSad to say we are their victims not clients.

They make a joke of the judicial system and protection of children. A lot of them, want nothing but to take children from good homes and make and keep a file going just to feel important and better then everyone else while disregarding anything good that would make their initial accusation show they are false, and that they were in the wrong. Using info from known child abusers and creating havoc in homes for nothing. Then turn around and let ACTUAL KIDS IN NEED OF PROTECTION stay in homes that aren't safe, or let the children be in unsupervised care of the ones hurting the child. Blows my mind.

I make 75k a year. Our daughter will have everything she wants or needs. We are attentive loving parents. Yet we are treated as unfit and incompetent. This corporation is useless.

This place does't help children. What a useles waste of tax payer money. These people are all about saving their jobs not saving children. Just another useless evil agency that we fund. Do your effing jobs.

The worker involved with us was continually condemning, lying and defaming our family, especially me the father (of whom by the way, she has never met). Be very careful with these people as many do not have the welfare of your child in mind, secondary only to profit making. Accusations of abuse that is only defined by them, subject to change at their whim to suit whatever conviction they are seeking and are almost always readily accepted in court without proof, unless you know your rights and are voicing them and the judge to respect them, the society will get away with it as presumption is on their side. My question is, how are you the workers doing the job that you are supposed to be doing when you are going after the vulnerable sectors of society. The poor and the sick while there are kids from drug Cartels and crooked government heads and rich abusive parents which have children that actually need protection are left alone. Cowards the lot of them, they do more harm then good. Update, This review will never be taken down, I am not ashamed for being involved, but I am ashamed for how they act under the claims of protecting children. And I don't care who reads this. Feel free to make your own minds and judgements.

We have been dealing with the same old song and dance with these people for the last 4 years because my partners ex has been maliciously calling every opportunity to make our lives miserable. Worst yet, they were involved before I was in the picture and HE was the cause of the concern... maybe they should learn to read their files before they start a whole new case.

As soon you accept any help from them they will label you as high risk for abuse/neglect. Avoid them if you can. Some workers are very nice while some are extremely judgemental. You have the right to request a copy of the file they have on you, but don't expect them to actually hand it over. They make excuses for not being able to in a timely manner in the hopes that you'll forget.

Vary professional and amazing at insuring that your child grows and is a well respected individual that will have all the best resources tge the Ontario government can provide so if you are involved with this agency please listen carefully to there request and take advantage of there's resources
