If you’ve been driving a while and you just wanna get out and stretch your legs it’s a great place to stop. There was one guy on site who gave a bit of information about one of the houses. Experience a piece of history.

We had a wonderful visit; the staff and interpreters were so knowledgeable and patient. They took the time to point out lots of different things and answer all of our questions. The kids loved the activity booklets and had so much fun filling them out as well.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed a round of disc golf and then toured ourselves through all the buildings. Parks Xplorers program kept out youngest son engaged. A great morning with things for us all to learn and enjoy.

An interesting fort with relevant Canadian history. Slightly off highway, easy access, but sort of hidden in residential area. Great and flat to walk through, easy tour. Nice stretch between cities.

Such a nice stop to get out and learn some history. Very easy to get, incredibly inexpensive, lots of parking, picnic area and knowledgeable tour guides!My kids had a great experience here, and would definitely recommend anyone to pop over for a tour!

Unfortunately it's closed this year due to staffing shortages. However, my grand daughter had fun chasing gophers.

When checking in I was not informed that a guided tour was available. I did catch up to the tour he was informative. The facility is currently being updated so there was limited things to view. A previous time I visited there was more on site activities. I understand when the updates are done there will be more to see.

Was a nice learning experience. But most of the buildings were closed. Will need to visit again in the future to get the entire experience.
