Very talented, made the design I wanted. Super pretty and the henna was organic and gave a nice deep dark color.

Almas did our mehndi yesterday and we couldn't be happier. Her work is amazing. And, somehow, she did it all super quickly! Not only did my wife's mehndi turn out wonderfully, bur everyone else in our family got something just as great. As an added bonus, she was really personable. Alma provides exceptional customer service! From the moment you message to inquire to the very end. She has been very helpful and shown all efforts to help out when I needed two bookings in the same week! I am very pleased with her service and will definitely recommend her to others! EDIT: Response to owner reply: no “plans” were ever discussed and no “form” ever provided. Everything was very informal over text. Only price mentioned was $5/single sided hand with basic design. Hourly cost or packages never mentioned. Would prefer Partial refund since I have no need to do henna in the future.I had booked the artist Hira to do henna for me and five girlfriends. Right from the start things were very unprofessional. When she messaged me to confirm our time which we did via text, she had recorded the wrong time noting we wanted to do it from 1-4pm - When i had booked it for 4:30-6pm. She had already booked herself to be at another appointment at 6pm in surrey though i had booked our appointment months prior. Then she stated that the henna wouldn’t dry in time so we would need to make the start time earlier than 4 - though I’m sure this was just to accommodate her own schedule. I told her that My friends wouldn’t all be able to arrive at four but we could just do a staggered start in hopes of having the ladies henna dry quicker. We all had very simple single sided hand designs that took less than five minutes to do each design and she charged me significantly more than she originally quoted. I was told these designs would only be $5. But now that we had the started ladies as they arrived at different time and needed to await other arrivals, she charged me $90 per hour- accruing 1.5hrs! She charged me $155 (including $20 travel fee to drive from surrey to Langley) to do 6 VERY SIMPLE designs that could’ve been done in half an hour, easily. On top of that, I guess she doesnt drive so she had her mother attend the entire session sitting at the table playing on her phone the whole time. The entire thing was very unprofessional and neither of them were personable at all. When we tried discussing what we wanted, she did not listen nor pay much attention to the pictures we showed. Granted the designs came out nice though not happy with the experience and felt completely ripped off. I even messaged them back noting that I was extremely overcharged. And they stated my money was going to a pregnant mother who is new to Canada (- trying to justify why it’s okay for them to overcharge me) and they don’t know how they could possibly correct this (ie refund anything perhaps even least $50?!) but stated if I needed anymore henna done they would do it for free.... recognizing they know they ripped me off. I would not recommend them. For all the other options out there, go elsewhere!
