Little Limestone Lake
Need a raised vehicle to get down the road due to huge holes, but the lake is amazing. Also needs garbage clean up at the second entrance further north.

Beautiful place to come. Please pick your trash up though. I will have to come back when it’s less windy. The water looks beautiful for a kayak

Wonderful piece of heaven on earth! But poorly maintained and not easily accessible. There was a lot of garbage around and no trash bins. I picked up some of the garbage as I usually do but I ran out of bags! Please let’s keep this wonderful place clean and respect it.

This place is perfect for a nature trip. Its a 6 hour drive but its worth the trip if your in for a social media detox..awesome backcountry camping place!!!

I think this is one of the most beautiful lakes in Manitoba. Worth the travel (5+ hours) from the city. I hope we will continue to make it clean and pristine for years to come.Just like what the other reviews were saying, the road leading towards the lake is a little rough and a small car might not be the best option.

Beautiful view. Soooo tempted to go swimming if we weren't already on a 10 hour car ride. I wish the road in from highway 6 was better, it was very rough hauling a trailer down it. Part on the highway and walk if you have one.

Absolutely stunning to see! If you plan to visit try to bring a larger vehicle as the road in is quite rough with lots of pot holes. It is easy to miss the road in so pay close attention!

Little Limestone Lake
This little gem is hidden right next to Hwy 6 and you can go right past unless you are paying attention to it. Beautiful pristine lake with clear turquoise water that reminds you of Caribbean. I wish the entry way was paved better as I was scared of my car getting stuck in the soft ground. If you are driving along hwy 6 between Thompson and Grand Rapids, don’t miss out on this beauty.

5 hours from winnipeg, 2 hours from Ashern.Blue water, can do bonfire. Best place to relax
