This is the second time that I have used the service of Master handyman1.first time technician Mitch and P.J. worked 4 days on my backyard decks, they removed all rotten boards and installed new deck boards/ hand rails/steps/ privacy fance.well done!and now technician Zack just painted our basement walls and ceiling in 21 hours as he estimated.perfect job!Can't say enough good things about this gentlemen!truly pro's!Honest,Friendly,Knowledgeable, on time,on budget,tidy respectful to my family and my home. we recommended them to our friend and they had the same good experience. we will definitely have them for our other projects!!!

PJ has done several jobs for us; he is professional, efficient, knowledgeable and does a great job every time.

We hired Master Handyman1 in a pinch, and while the work was done well, there were a lot of issues that don't appear in their reviews, and here's why:Their fee is $84/hour. Obviously, it's high enough that people will look for any way to get a lower rate. And they do provide that... if you leave a positive review FIRST. (Before the work is done!)Which not only means that you'll see LOTS of glowing reviews for a handyman service (really, how many people take the effort to leave reviews if there isn't incentive?), but it also means that the reviews are not completely honest.The handyman who worked here did good work and clearly knew his stuff, but let pipe water drip onto carpet without worry, left a trail of debris, let us walk through paint-laden sheets (that we provided) without telling us there was paint on them, and didn't let us know that if he has to purchase supplies (also on your paid time), the company policy is to add a 20% markup on the final cost of goods (INCLUDING tax!!!).On top of all that, when we had scheduled ourselves accordingly for the hours we were told he would be at our home, a member of the office admin staff called and rudely told us that he would be delayed because they had scheduled a new client in the morning instead, and they would push us back in the day.While your home repairs may be in good hands, the service and price for it is NOT worth it.

PJ arrived on time and was pleasant and efficient. He looked at the jobs that I needed doing and offered ways to save me money. He completed the work quickly and efficiently. I was extremely pleased with the workmanship and will have no qualms about hiring this company again in the future.

I had a home inspection done on the new house we bought. He had recommended Master Handyman1 as a reliable company. The house needed a few major jobs to properly winterize. We had PJ come over. He was extremely helpful and professional. Explained what needed to be done now. What could wait. What to keep an eye on. I can't even tell you how much I appreciated the honesty and incredible service. I have had a few things come up once settling into the house and getting to know it better and Master Handyman1 was my first call. I would strongly recommend! From insulation to fixing the ptrap in the kitchen to potlights that were not fitting properly, they can do it all!

PJ has been doing repairs and renos for my family for many years. He is reliable and does quality work.

This is the 2nd time I've used Master Handyman 1. The 1st was to install a new steel door and more recently to replace a patio door. The service I received in both cases was beyond my expectations. The phone service was efficient and very friendly and the technician was thorough, detailed and did high quality work. I highly recommend this company.

I have used the services of Masterhandyman1 three times now. I have been fortunate enough to have P.J. as my technician on all three of these visits. P.J. is prompt, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. He has installed a microwave, a toilet, fixed broken lights, put up shelves and numerous other tasks. He offers helpful advice and solutions to problems and even volunteers to source out parts for me. P.J. is very efficient and willingly works through my endless list of to-dos with a smile. I can't say enough positive things about the work that P.J. has done in our home and we will definitely be having him back again.

I am a bit of a DIY handyman, and know how to handle drywall, paint jobs, hang shelves and do basic electrical and plumbing work as well, but since i was busy i thought id get someone to do these things for me, a gentleman by the name PJ came over to give me a free quote on a few extremely basic tasks that include basic paint and patch work on 2 ought 3 areas of dry wall, hanging up approximately 6 shelves and removing an electrical fireplace, let me say that PJ was professional, but for these extremely basic tasks i was quoted 1750 dollars, I knew i was being duped but thought id ask how much for just the removal of the fireplace, and was quoted 650, after PJ left it took me 5 minutes to remove it myself, I get that labor is expensive and people need to make money, but robbing people like this is unacceptable.
