The gentleman that runs this store is amazing at his craft. I bought three pairs a fry boots and the zippers were basically junk and I brought the boots into him and he replaced the zippers and the stitching next to the zippers for $50 a pair. The boots are very expensive and the zippers that they sell on the boots are cheap quality, and he put very nice zippers in so they wouldn’t bust when I wore them which was what was happening. Not only did it extend the boots a little in the calf area, it was so much easier to zip up. Highly recommend! He did it in one day!

I was very pleased. The owner told me exactly how he was going to fix my shoe and he's only going to take three days to do it! He also didn't charge me in advance which is unusual because his colleagues always make you pay upfront. It'll be interesting to see what he charges me!

Have always had great experiences here! I have brought in leather, shoes, coats, sandals, baseball gloves and all done promptly and professionally. It is my go to place and I love recommending it to everyone. It is a hidden treasure. I love going in and seeing them cutting leather to make custom boots. A true craftsman!

Had my heavy duty hiking boots resoled. When I picked them up, the collar on the top of the ankle was also repaired (something I didn't think was going to be possible as the leather was so thick.Beautiful job for very fair price. Will travel the considerable distance to have any shoe repair done by this artisan.PS - Back when I first discovered him (I believe his shop was in Walpole at the time) I learned that he also will make custom shoes or hiking boots from scratch. He is a master craftsman.

4 pairs of boots needed polish and some repairsGot them back and look brand new. And price is ridiculous (cheap). He said he had been doing this for 28 years and you can tell by his work and prices. Gave him a tip and he was so thankful and happy. Loved himReminded me of my Papa.

Mr. Ayanyan did me a tremendous service today. He is very good at repairing dance shoes. On just 1.5 hour notice, he put new suede on the bottom of my favorite dance shoes, as well as repairing my leather handbag, and putting more holes in the straps of another pair of dance shoes. He went above and beyond what I had asked by polishing my shoes and doing an additional repair to my bag that I hadn't even mentioned. I've had a number of dance shoes repaired here and they always come out just as good a new at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

My leather shoes were shined and cleaned very well for my wedding. The service was prompt and was affordable. Definitely recommend !

Great service, quality and very reasonable pricing. Especially enjoyed the owners honesty when I brought in a luxury handbag and asked if he could fix/adjust a few wear and tear issues (nothing major). He was super honest and said he could try, but in his experience due to it’s construction he’d recommend we try the going to the fashion house that made it for the best outcome. I really appreciated his honesty rather than just taking it in and possibly botching the job. We will continue to stop in for our needs and would recommend.

I went in here after reading reviews because I needed to have a purse strap shortened. I wasn’t quite sure how it would be done, but this man is an expert at his craft. He took one look at the strap, could see that it was way too long on me and we measured what we thought would be the right length for the strap. I didn’t want to leave the bag. It has sentimental value for me, and asked if I could just leave the strap with him to fix and I would come back for it. He asked me if I could wait 10 minutes and said he could do it right now. The work is impeccable and it’s perfect. Bless him! What a lost art form. I hope he is in business for many, many years. Excellent work, a super kind and professional man.
