Shoppers Drug Mart

We recently had the opportunity to photograph the grand opening of the Walk-In Clinic at this location. Since then, we have visited many times as it is close to our home office! We are always happy with the service and the wait times at the clinic are often minimal. The owner is friendly and very helpful!

Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. But being someone who needs the same medications fairly regularly, and has been dealing with this place for years, let me assure you that getting medication prescribed at this location is often difficult and frustrating. Even simple reflux meds, that I’ve been on for years, until I can see my physician in 2 days. Needless to say I’ve now switched all of my stuff to another pharmacy who is willing to help me out, because I’m done with the hassle.*edit* I have switched back and they’re doing much better than before. Still having issues with the auto fill “option” but there is new staff and they are all very helpful. Would add a star if all of my medications were filled as soon and they’re ready to be, and ready for me to pick up instead of me having to call repeatedly, but it is what it is I guess! Would recommend.

All the cashiers and staff are incredibly helpful and friendly! Prompt service and the store is always clean and tidy. The pharmacists are excellent and go above and beyond! Have earned and deserved loyalty time and time again.

Friendly staff at check out. Pharmacist are okay. I wish there are more helpful and fast. They are really taking their time there. I was there a a week ago spend 15 minutes checking which medicine is the best for my child. I’ve seen two women chatting away. They’ve seen me, I guess you have to call them to assist you before they do their job. Staff there don’t have initiative. You really have to get their attention for them to do what they are paid for.Over all I love this store. Exempt the pharmacy area.

I am just so happy with this Pharmacy. It is SO much more professional and customer service focused then the other Shopper's in Fort Saskatchewan. The Pharmacists treat customers with respect and are incredibly knowledgeable. I was able to refill my daily prescription through Raj which saved me a trip into a walk-in clinic just to get a new prescription. He even offered to deliver to my house for free. This is the type of business and procedures that we are fortunate to be offered during this pandemic. I can't say enough good things about this Pharmacy and their team and am just so thankful to have them in Fort Saskatchewan. Keep up the great work guys!

I don't have problem with the Shoppers associates themselves, just the pharmacy. I seem to always have issues getting my regularly prescribed RX's filled and sometimes it feels like I'm getting lectured on usage, even though my doctor has allotted/cleared me for these specific dosages.Previously, I spoke to someone at the pharmacy and they confirmed that my RX was covered. When I went to pick it up, I was told it was not covered. When I asked about it, they seemed annoyed that I did. I wasn't rude or anything, just confused. I told them okay, no worries, I was just told something else. Today I just called to have my RX filled and asked them to double check the coverage. She let me know it is indeed covered, so I was like okay great, because this is what happened last time. She cut me off and said, It's covered

Went to see walk in pharmacist over lunch to help me with the flu I was having for 2 weeks. I got in very quick, pharmacist was very knowledgeable and got me my prescription very quick, I was home with my meds within an hour. Great service, thank you very much.

Very kind pharmacists and assistants. There was a time they didn't have my medication and got it in for me very quick. They are fast at filling prescriptions, they are knowledgeable and take the health and safety of their customers very seriously.. Pharmacists Mike went over and above for me today. I am very grateful for the staff. Excellent service.

Have been trying to get my prescription transferred over to this location and the pharmacy student Mary I spoke to on the phone was so professional, organized, and helpful! Really made it a less stressful for me! Thank you!

We had one prescription at the west park location filled less than 7 weeks ago went back for a refill that was still valid and had no records or history. Apparently we were deleted-cancelled. Thank goodness the Southfort store pharmacist stepped up to help otherwise would have been without important medication. I’m very disappointed .
