I took my 1967 Singer sewing machine to Peter for an overhaul, he had it ready the next day! Excellent service, he not only gave me a lesson on using the machine but also assisted me with the project I was working on.Reasonably priced and efficient service.

Called in to inquire about purchasing a new machine as my 30+ year old Kenmore tightened up at a crucial time. Peter suggested keeping the machine even if I decided to buy a new one and promised to make it sing again. I was skeptical and thought it would have been done once he opened it. WOW with a giant smile was my response when I heard it going. I don’t know what he did but my machine has never been that smooth and quiet while operating. Peter went above and beyond going through what he did and showing me some tips for better productivity while sewing. He was awesome. He took his time to explain and was very thorough without being pushy; excellent teaching skills. Being overzealous in cleaning a borrowed Omega machine I ended up taking apart the bobbin casing and unable to put it back together. In a panic I called Peter who calmed me down and walked me through fixing it over the phone. Such kindness and no charge! Now with some new oil, this machine is happier than ever and I am ecstatic. I won't hesitate to recommend Peter to my sewing group and anyone looking for service.

I was frustrated with my 80s Singer and decided to go for an older, sturdier model- a Singer 401 from the 60s.Peter did some cleaning/ maintenance and gave me a rundown of how it works, as well as answering other sewing questions I had. I was utterly delighted both with the service and the machine, and I’m so so happy to have found such a great resource.Over the couple months since I got this machine back, I have done more sewing than in the previous several years combined!
