Great cook today with the ladies! Woman helping woman is how I'm starting my volunteering this year! Thanks to the house volunteers for making us feels so good and welcome, great space!!

I really like the idea of how Made by Momma gives back to the community. What I didn’t like was the experience we had. We paid for our session on a weekend which was agreed upon. What I didn’t understand was that we paid to watch the Owners’ 1.5 year old toddler and to clean an entire kitchen we didn’t use.Here are the issues:-many health and safety regulation not followed- 10 people in a busy kitchen and a to Child roaming freely grabbing things off the shelves and drawers and touching them with his hands and mouth-a few times the child sat at my feet in front of a hot stove while we were in action-the child was in our way in the sanitization station with burning hot water. At one time the parent dropped a tray and had thought she hurt her own child as she didn’t know where he was.-We had to keep eyes on the child so he wouldn't get injured and neither would we-legos, sippy cup and Cheerios containers in our way that at one point for my own kid’s safety I had to kick the child’s items out of our path-pull plastic zip lock off child’s head-we were responsible for cleaning yet we didn’t get a checklist in the beginning and I felt they asked us to clean more than we should have especially when their own child was creating a messOverall, the owners put their Child in danger as well as their customers and my own child. I didn’t think It was our responsibility to watch their child. I have no issues with cleaning and sanitation as this is a must. But if they are unable to follow this requirement themselves then they shouldn’t be allowed to implement this.

I was referred to made by momma when I had my baby girl 9 years ago,it was a blessing to have them in my life .I was going true depression at the time made by momma sent me a volunteer she was truly an angel send to me at the time she help me with my baby and myself too . I was able to sleep ,do laundry etc,just look after myself the way I need to at the time it was truly a great experience. I want to thank you made by mama for ur great work in the community ur support has help many people like me . To all the volunteers sponsors and we'll wishers THANKS GOD BLESS.

Very beautiful place. I applied for some clothes for my child in less than 2 weeks, I was called to come pick up.And the clothes were very good.We were given a lot of bread too

Amazing community service for families with young children. I was put in a difficult temporary financial situation this month and the help I Recieved from this organization ensured that feeding my child wasn't one of them. The organization is completely volunteer run and the lady I spoke with today was so kind and friendly to myself and my baby it warmed my heart.if you're thinking of donating lightly used baby and child items or even a good charity to invest in I would hands down reccomend these guys

Volunteer here 3 yrs and is safe clean efficient friendly organized.community family support centre for all childrearing families. Offers to eligible recipients home kitchen bath essentials plus educational and entertainment sport personal supports ensuring all kids + parents are with happier birthdays Easters Christmases. Also offer some in-home supports to alleviate postpartum depression via one on one companionship guidance. A great volunteer ambiance too promoting casual, professional togetherness

This place is a shining star for families in need of some lifting up. Whether it be the wholesome meals they provide, toys for kiddos, or just a simple friendly smile that says - we understand. This place is a much needed and very much appreciated organization in Calgary.

Made by Momma is a grassroots volunteer run organization that helps families in crisis. They really care and work hard to help families in stressful situations. I love volunteering there because I know they make a difference!
