Canadian Tailors & Alterations

I have been going here for a few years now after recommendations from others. Owner is a very hardworking, honest tailor who strives to take good care of her customers. I've had many of my suits including a custom one from Holt Renfrew (see photo) adjusted by her, and they've all turned out great. I also get dry cleaning done here and if you drop off the items before noon, they will be ready by 5PM the next day.

The best place for dowtown hemming! I got a pair of jeans and pants hemmed for $22. I dropped them off at 10am and they were ready by 3pm on the same day. Excellent work and service!

I've come here twice now for alterations and dry cleaning and they've done a great job with my clothing. Very reasonable pricing and they are quite fast.

I had a saree top that needed to be taken in a size and winter jacket that needed repair. I needed both for a wedding and she was able to get them done the next morning (Rush service!). She did such an amazing job, can't even tell they were worked on beside for the fact that they fit me perfectly. Would recommend and return for more service including dry cleaning. Brought in a pair of jeans that were just a little bit too long. They had a really nice wide seam and Tran was able to replicate it, no problem! Very friendly and talented. I will definitely be back!

Brought 5 pairs of jeans in to be hemmed and picked them up the next day. The lady was wonderful and did a very clean and good job for just under $50! Best quality of work for the price in Edmonton. Get your clothes tailored here!

Fast and good price. I just went to get some patches sewed on to a vest. Was perfect.

staff is friendly however, I had a hole in my expensive tank ($50) and the lady told me it would be $10.50. When I went to pick it it up, she admitted it looked bad but still proceeded to charge me $6.50 (I think I have to undo the stitching at home). It would have been more professional to just admit she wouldn't be able to patch it up and look good instead of taking it like she could do it easily. Lack of honesty/would have preferred she call and tell me it was not possible :(. I also had my pants hemmed here and was charged around $33 dollars. It was ok but considering she told my friend it would cost around $10 each/sign outside says so I think there is a bit of dishonesty here.

Firstly this woman refuses work mostly because she can knock out a hem in a few minutes for 18-20 dollars. She is mostly unpleasant to deal with and simply does as she pleases. I brought in a skirt (D&G) with a partial elastic waistband and received back a skirt with a much too large waist and no elastic. No answer on why either. Oh where are all the tailors gone far far away! I had the same tailor on 124st. for 40 years and he was extremely reasonable, always happy to see me,, and he knew how to keep me coming back. And I am at the tailor every other day year after year.
