Foodland - Cannington

Small store with limited products and selection..can be pricey as there is no other competition..meat selection very minimal...just a grab and go kind of place..to do a full shoo becomes very pricey very quickly

Nice people, clean store but the hot table food is horrendous

There a wee bit pricey but you get great food! The quality of the groceries is always perfection. everything is fresh and the staff are soo friendly. Michelle has helped me a few times in particular and she is so sweet. I love this little grocery store! Cannington is lucky to have it!

Clean and decently stocked especially for a small town grocery store.Prices are quite expensive for most things, but I imagine they need to price that way in order to stay open. It sure beats a variety store, except for Circle Ks milk prices.If ur in a pinch, need a few things and you're Near Cannington, give it a whirl. It sure beats driving another 20 mins to Lindsay (unless you need to do a normal size grocery shop then drive the extra 20 and save a lot of money in Lindsay)

I love this place they have so much and they are nice people

I went to this store tonight (open until 7pm) because I needed 1 ingredient for dinner. I went in at 6.42pm. The store is mopped, all lights are off except the overhead ones, and the mood from the staff was ice cold. 18 more minutes until your shift is over. Is it going to kill you to be at least a small amount of friendly? I live in town. I am friendly to everyone. But the vibe here is absolutely awful. Why are you open if you don't want paying customers to buy things in the store that pays your salary? It's a really awful feeling, and no other business in this beautiful town is so rude. I have no complaints about the store, or the products. Obviously it's overpriced, it's a Foodland. It's whole purpose is to be there when the nearby residents need things. But apparently, we aren't actually welcome to come in and spend our money. I was in and out in 60 seconds. It's not like I delayed the staff or anything. I will definitely hesitate to spend my money here going forward.

If it was at all possible to give lower then 1 star, I would.I'm down right disgusted with the store in here in Cannington. The owner (wife) Michelle is probably one of the rudest people I ever met. She is so fast to judge people. Without knowing their side.I hate going into the store but when it's the only grocery store in town. You have no choice.

Great store in the middle of Cannington, I stop here a few times a week for little additions for dinner and they always have what I'm looking for. I am and will continue to be a regular customer.
