Wyndham-Carseland Provincial Park
Beautiful area. Fly fisherman trolling the river while we mountain bikes above. Now the mountain biking was pretty tame and I wouldn’t even recommend the area at all for the high level riders but wow - a gorgeous location. Looks like lots of parking and camping areas. Looked practically empty!

The Good: The camp sites in many areas are spaced out. There are also a couple of group sites. Some are close to the river. Sites are clean. Black water drain/dump station on site. Two playgrounds. The bad: lawless at night. Lots of loud parties. Staff not caring. Wood is not free. Dump station costs $6.

Great area. Fishing wasn't great, but river access is nice, couple easy spots to get water level at day use. Also two great playgrounds and a campground with no services, but looked like $4 sani dump station and water taps /outhouses present.

This park is located just off Hwy 24 south east of Calgary Alberta, Canada. The park borders the Bow River. The day use and picnic area has a grassy shore, parking, and a very nice playground. The campsites are in a bushy area with shade trees for great privacy on level gravel sites. There is a nice riverside trail but not much else here. The boat launch is on the other side of the river and the Hwy we found it after we left the park. Water and sani-dump available. Level, quiet, self-registration.

First time out to this campsite. Actually pretty nice! Hiking wasn't great but not bad for what it is.

Some sites are very small. Lots of nice trails for hiking. Tons of bird life if you like bird watching. Many good spots for fishing.Have 2 good playgrounds.Down side: bathrooms leave Alot to be desired.Only passable in cleanlines. They need to more about the smell. Many other campgrounds have drop toilets and are much better looked after.

Nice small nature park along the Bow River not that far from the city. Good for fishing, picnic or short stroll.

Nice little campground along the river just past the weir. There's a trail that goes along the river - remember your bug spray. I don't fish but its supposed to be very good for fishing.
