This is a wonderful little zoo filled with charismatic arthropods. The staff are charismatic, too, and happy to adjust the information they give based on how familiar you are with their many-legged friends. So whether you’re a kid or an adult, bug-shy or bug enthusiast, there’s something here that will make you smile.

This was a great stop with our three toddlers! We were lucky to hold a scorpion and a tarantula. We learned a lot about spiders, stick insects, and other insects with help of our guides. Would definitely recommend!

My daughter and I had a fantastic time at the bug zoo. It’s a bit smaller than I was expecting but there are a lot of bugs to see!My favorite part of the zoo were the people. I’ve genuinely never went to a place where every single person working there seemed like they found their calling. The workers are passionate about bugs and it shows! It was such a fun experience for my little one learn and touch some bugs!

What a great place to visit with or without kids. Our group - 6 adults enjoyed our experience very much. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome and once we were ready we were taken to another room with all the creapy crawlies. At the time they had 2 lovely ladies explaining and answering any and all questions from visitors. Both ladies loved what they did as they talked with such love and passion for the animals which made me very comfortable being around spiders and other crawly critters. I would definitely recommend the Bug Zoo!

This site is amazing to visit. Staff members were extremely helpful and kind. This location is undoubtedly fun for kids. I had an amazing time at this exhibit and was blown away by the variety of creatures.

Wow, we’ve learnt on this trip that small is better! Although a tiny location, this was a highlight for my daughters (3 and 5yrs) on a three week tour of the area. Wonderful room of many varied big exhibits, with lots of information. The passion and enthusiasm from the tour guides working here was great. They have a wealth of knowledge, are super friendly and great with the kids who got to hold and touch many different types of bug! Interesting for kids and adults alike! Lovely gift shop up front. Would recommend.

Amazing collection of insects. Excellent educators that are very enthusiastic about the insects they care for. A great place for kids and adults. Don't forget to stop into the gift shop!

Two small rooms about exhibiting different species of bugs charging ~$50 for two adults and one kid. No offence, but a lot of the exhibition boxes were empty (in construction), however it is a bit much for not so much content. The gift shop was bigger than the exhibition rooms

Bug Zoo is amazing! If you or your kids love bugs - best place to check out! They have bugs I have never seen except on TV! You can hold the bugs which is such an experience! The guide is very knowledge! All staff is very friendly and gift shop is stocked with amazing things for any age!

Would give this place a 4 if it weren't for the tour host. She was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly letting us hold some of the insects.The insects they have are really cool (and gross) and are of large variety. If you're just coming and looking, it's great but could potentially get boring. It was really educational to learn a lot more through the guided tour so would definitely recommend going through it with a host.There was no wait at all and there was plenty of space for people to go through it at their own pace.
