Le Nouvel Hotel

The bed is heavenly. Our friend said the fold out was not terrible which is high praise for a fold out. The shower made me feel much better after the terrible train ride from NYC. The hotel is beautiful inside and very clean. The staff was meh. They weren’t rude but they def weren’t helpful - however it was like 10 pm.We really only slept here since our train got in very late. I’d stay here again, solid 4.5 stars and when I visit again I’ll try to experience more of their amenities

I was going to give this place 3 stars, but I have bumped it down to 2 because the last night we stayed, housekeeping barely cleaned the room. The bed sheets were a crumpled mess under the covers, and not a single surface had been wiped down. To start, we parked in the underground parking and got quite lost because there are no signs whatsoever indicating which tower, elevator, or entrance to use. There was also just one working elevator in the tower we were staying in, and it had residential condos, and there was so much foot traffic that at one point, I waited close to 8 minutes for an elevator. Also, when we first checked in, we had to call reception to have housekeeping sent up to properly clean the room. The rugs had not been vacuumed, and the floors were quite dirty. They were pretty quick about it, and the reception staff were very helpful, but there were definitely some glaring issues.

Disappointed that it wasn’t communicated to us when booking that the hotel was under renovation & most of the facilities (pool, spa) were unavailable to use. We stayed for 3nights and were woken up to drilling & construction work at 7:00am every morning.Our room was very spacious and worthy of a 5* hotel. Comfortable bed & large television. Reception & house keeping were lovely and always smiling.

I just returned from a 3 day stay here and I would definitely book this hotel again!It’s a 35 min walk to the Old Port, 18 mins to the Eatons centre and major shopping area and has an on site parking garage.The pool area is nice and relaxing with plenty of seating. We spent every late afternoon there, after long day of shopping and sightseeing. It could use some landscaping touch ups like a little bit of weeding, but other than that it was perfect!The restaurant sets up in the terrace area from 7-11pm and they have a nice menu including pasta, pizza, salads and also a full bar setup. It was a beautiful atmosphere with lively music.Oh and the breakfast buffet is worth the price, imo. It was tasty and very convenient.I was extremely pleased with my experience at this hotel and I highly recommend it :)

Be careful if you’re staying here and you have a rental car! Ours was stolen from the parking lot outside the hotel enterance, and we had to report it to the police. Keep your belongings in the hotel! Other than that the room was decent and a perfect location with walking distance to the city center.

We were very pleased and very comfortable with Le Nouvel hotel. The trip to Montreal was a birthday gift for my husband. I was first disappointed and stressed due to construction. However, the staff person was so accommodating and pleasant and she did not hesitate to move us to a beautiful room. The dining staff were so friendly and attentive and our buffet breakfast was delicious. We spent 4 great night's there and are planning a return visit.

Highly recommended this hotel, and will definitely be back ourselves. The location is great, easy to get to from the highway & under 15 min walking distance to the Bell Centre. The hotel is newly renovated, rooms are a great size, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the room had great AC & blackout blinds - which is always a bonus in my books. The hotel staff was beyond friendly & extremely helpful. 5/5 would recommend.

Really nice experience at this hotel, staying in one of their condo/studio rooms. It felt really private, with not many rooms on each floor and good sound proofing.The shower was a walk-in with six jets, hot water and food pressure. Housekeeping was regular and thorough. The microwave was a little surreal (short in the LCD display so it showed random-looking numbers) very everything else worked great. The TVs are set up for Chrome cast which was a welcome convenience.I'm not a super frequent traveler, but I've paid more for less all too often. Would definitely return!

DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR HERE. my truck was stolen only to find out from the police “ I come here everyday for a stolen car” he goes on to say he has told management several times to get cameras add a gate or security. The manager is well aware of the high theft and I’m sure receives a kick back from the extremely large organized crime ring happening In Montreal. The “cameras”show nothing of the first spots conveniently where we were told to park our 2022 ram.The manager said this never happens but was a coward when the cops showed up because he clearly takes money to scout cars. You think you’re paying $28 a day to park they would do something or afford more security. But no! Their pockets are lined full of cash. Even in line at the car rental place we were the 12th person that morning reported a stolen car. 3 people in line with us all had rams. It’s a shame! Montreal had 9,500 car’s stolen last year. Boston (4x bigger) had 800.I will never return to Canada again it’s not safe!!!
