Shoppers Drug Mart

Wish I could give a zero star review made me feel like a criminal for using my reusable bag in here...if you want people to use the baskets ONLY put up a sign at the front enterance. Never have I ever had three store clerks track me in the store while buying tampons.

We are regular customers at this location. My wife went to return the perfume she purchased a week ago from shoppers and she provided the original receipt. The lady incharge there took receipt and asked my wife if she knows the purchase date. My wife replied she don't know exact day and if she want then check it on the receipt. Lady refused to check the receipt, kept the receipt with her, won't return the receipt and decided to take memory test of my wife and requested to see the bank statement.!!!???? What the heck kind of business going there? Just a Strange and unheard behavior by the staff.After the argument she was able to return the perfume but, we would like to ask some questions to the managementThis is how shoppers treat their regular customers?Is the staff so incompetent that they can't recognize genuine customer after providing the proof of purchase?Does cashier or any staff there has any authority to check someone's bank statement or personal banking?Shoppers don't trust or honor their own pos transaction receipt and barcodes?Is this a new sales tactic to harass people who want to return?What kind of power is given to the staff to harass the customers like this?Do you think your staff need be hold accountable?Can management explain to this kind of employees that their salary is depended on the regular customers?Are they given proper training to deal with people?We would like some answers otherwise we will escalate this further.

The store is always clean and stocked, the employees are all so friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Linda for always going above and beyond and always doing it with a smile!

I do not recommend this store if you're a minority or have any type of mental health illness. I went into the store the other day to purchase a face cream & this short lady with long black hair was following me around the entire time glaring at me. When I was about to pay for my items at the self check out she started demanding that I walk back over to cosmetics to pay for my items. When I told her no that I was fine paying for my items at the till I was already at she got more aggressive and I felt like she was about to grab me which caused me to have aminor panic attack and needed help with the machine. If theft is such a problem in the store why is there no sign asking customers to pay for items in certain sections. Further more why is loss prevention not stating who they are and explaining store policies in polite way before the person gets to a till. I will not be back as it's not worth reliving a traum a for a face cream. I'll be going to Sephora for my skincare from now on.

They accused me of stealing goods without even checking the cameras!!! Pull on your jacket! Ultimately, after the testimony of evidence (receipt from another store), no one even apologized to me, but said “goodbye” lol. Terrible experience ever!

I was treated poorly by the loss prevention woman. This happened after I was denied a managers number by the supervisor. The reason why is that my fiance had just been harassed by loss prevention for not purchasing her items at a certain till. All the supervisor said was why?" And when I started to tell her the loss prevention staffer made me feel like a criminal even after I paid for my items. When I told them I would not be returning they told me "Good!". The loss prevention lady then came out into the parking lot to read my license plate number! What did I do wrong? I won't be supporting Shoppers Drug Mart in the future."

This shoppers is well set up and everything, but the employees are a problem. My last visit I WAS PROFILED and HARASSED the whole time despite wearing tight clothes and having a small purse. After I paid for my items, a worker rushed at me and ripped one of my items from my arms. This is DISCRIMINATORY, and it’s disgusting. The treatment I received from these employees was terrible. I am NOT IMPRESSED.

Really friendly staff here, always smiling and saying hi. Great store, well kept, clean, nice!

I am not a theif, but I sure feel like I am being perceived as one, being followed around is not a pleasent thing for me and it clearly isn't for many other shoppers here.With all the complaints I have seen, it sure doesn't appear that they do take this seriously as it's been like this for others as well for years

Absolutely terrible. I'm not sure what has changed in the recent years, I used to come here all the time with no issue but after today I will never be stepping foot in this store again. I came in to get a prescription filled around 11am, told to wait 20min, I always give a few minutes more than they say so I came back in around 11:30. I was then told the pharmacist was refusing to give me my medication because we wasn't sure if the medications could be taken while I'm pregnant even though my doctor assured me I could. After 4 hours of waiting when they told me just another 30 minutes. I had to call in to work because I was still dealing with thi sat 1pm. At 2pm I finally got a call that my prescription was ready (because the pharmacist was wrong I 100% could take the meds while pregnant which a quick Google search would show) when I finally got acknowledged standing at the pick up desk (probably 5-10 minutes just standing there) I asked the girl if I could speak with the pharmacist and she said he would be awhile before I could speak to him and I just left because this has already taken too much time out of my day that I didn't have. I paid the 105 for my meds and left. When I got home a realized that a prescription I was only supposed to have for 2 days was given to me for 30 days which is why my bill was so high. I immediately called the store asking if I could get the right amount of days and a refund as I do not need these pills. He just said he couldn't do anything because I left the store
