Mystic Isle Motel

I do a lot of hiking trips, and stayed here with a friend while hiking Lake Superior Park. I have stayed in some pretty rough places in this price range in other areas. This is likely one of the nicest Motels I've stayed in in this price range. The room was clean, well equipped and the front desk staff were very nice. It's elevated up on a hill and has a nice view.While the rooms have little coffee makers, there is also a room near the office with a larger coffee machine, kettle, microwave etc.My only complaints are small. The room didn't have enough power outlets and the ones that were there are hard to access. It would be great to have something on the bed side table with multiple outlets and maybe some usb charging ports. It would also be nice to have a small kettle in the room.Overall, as a home base for hiking my friend and I were very happy with the accommodations. I would definitely stay here again if I visit the park again.

Top notch - clean, convenient, modern, next to the road, but on a hill, so no traffic noise. Highly recommend.

This is likely the best hotel near Wawa. The rooms were quiet, clean, spacious, and comfortable. TV and Internet worked well.. The small shop for snacks and drinks was great to have. The only problem I had was the price was more than the reservation. I reserved a room through a site called Bookety. But when I arrived, the price of the room went up 20 dollars. I thought is was the USD to CAD conversion, but nope. It was 20 dollars more in USD I found out after I left. I still recommend the hotel. Just keep an eye on the price.

A quiet and beautiful oasis surrounded by the forest. Our room was a delight and everything was spotless. The owner/manager was very accommodating.

Such a pretty, comfortable motel! Fresh, clean room with a comfy bed and lots of plush towels. There are great outdoor spaces and a quirky but delicious fine dining restaurant just across the road. A great stay.

Beautifully situated on top of a road side small hill. Room is super clean and service desk is friendly and helpful. Coffee, fridge and microwave are available.There's also a good restaurant across the road.You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful room and bathroom. I am from Florida and drove to Canada. We went in through Vancouver and out through Sault ste marie. So we stayed at quite a bit of hotels and motels. This one was the absolute nicest one. You feel like you are in a log cabin in the woods in Canada. If we need somewhere to stay in the area again, I will definitely stay here.

This place is a real gem! It was so clean and comfy! we would stay here again if ever traveling through that area.
