Sheppard Village Dental

Most people don't like going to the dentist but the staff at Sheppard Village Dental create such a positive experience for their clients, you can't help but have a pleasant time! From reception to the hygienist to the dentist, every single person I had the pleasure of interacting with have been nothing but helpful and kind (and funny). I haven't been to the dentist in years and I knew I needed some work done but I had budget constraints. Their team was very understanding, creating an outline for me on what to prioritize and even offered payment plans for the services I had to pay out of pocket. Mel was my hygienist and she was amazing, very transparent and informative. She was in high spirits at 7am on a Saturday when the weather was -25 degrees! She made light hearted conversation and finished my cleaning painlessly and faster than I expected. Dr. Madhosh was my dentist and he was amazing too! He was very delicate and thorough, always making sure I was never in pain or discomfort. Any feelings of intimidation I had went right out the window as he cracked a couple jokes, I felt very comfortable and not judged for avoiding the dentist in previous years. Thank you Sheppard Village Dental for making my trips to the dentist the most enjoyable experience, I look forward to continuing my dental journey with you!

I did not have a good experience at this dental office. I initially booked my daughters for a cleaning but they did not receive a cleaning the first time we went there instead a comprehensive exam that I did not ask for. After the fact I was told that the procedure may not be covered by my insurance as it is only covered every 3 years and I may have to pay out of pocket. I was taken aback because I should have been told this before hand. I’m my opinion they are not transparent and out of pocket costs, insurance coverage etc should be discussed and agreed upon before any services are rendered. I will not be going back to this dental office.

It takes a village to care for one human being and their standards of care is literally within the title. Each member at Sheppard Village from a simple hello at the front desk to the dentist provide outstanding care and support towards their clients. If you’re looking for a 10 out of 10 experience Sheppard Village is for you. Thanks to all of you for your amazing care and support.

My experience with Sheppard Village Dental was by far the best ever experience that I have encountered being at a dental office. They are so experienced and down to earth. They made me feel so comfortable from when I arrived. Jennifer informed me of all that was going to be done. I got my x-rays done followed by a cleaning by Rochelle. To the point during the cleaning, I was falling asleep at times. That is how relaxed I was. I was also introduced to staff members along with the Doctor who was so down to earth. Had me laughing up a storm. I got referred to this place through my colleagues and I would say it was the best decision I made with choosing a Dental office. Great place to be for your dental needs. Great job well done guys!

Dr wong and the hygienist (can’t rmb her name) made the experience welcoming.Can’t say the same with Dr luka. He made an inappropriate comment about the saliva in my mouth that made me uncomfortable.For that reason alone I have made a decision to never return. Also I feel the google reviews aren’t genuine here due to the fact they bribe you with giveaways/treats for 5 stars

My experience with Sheppard Village Dental and the Staff was amazing. I never saw a dentist in my entire life. I was one of those people who hated to go to the dentist, and it was my very first visit to see a dentist. My first impression was outstanding. The attention to detail and there professionalism exceeded my expectations. The way they took time to explain all procedures in detail. Dr. Brach was my dentist and he explained me in detail after examining my teeth for the treatment. He's experienced, knowledgeable and very friendly. The girl (Sorry I forgot her name) who took my x-rays was super friendly and made me very comfortable and she was amazing. Mel the hygienist was amazing very friendly and experienced, she gave me a valuable suggestions while cleaning how to take care of my teeth, thank you Mel. Lisa the benefits specialist was very helpful and explained all the charges in detail. Amy at the front desk was nice and friendly. I’d like to thank all the staff at Sheppard Village Dental for your great service and making my experience amazing. I look forward to my appointments and will be coming here for all my dental needs. I proudly recommend their services to my friends and relatives.

The staff here are amazing and supportive. My partner and I found this place through Open Care and expressed how nervous we were going in, I have had some pretty bad experiences in the past. Lisa really took care of all our concerns and questions and really took the time to get to know us. They have been extremely accommodating with our schedules and ensuring we feel comfortable throughout the process of every procedure even if it was a simple cleaning. The dentists and orthodontist were extremely supportive and never pushed for solutions that weren't the right fit for me. Highly recommend for their customer service, expertise and support.

I found Sheppard Village Dental in my area of Scarborough whilst searching for an Oral Surgeon. What a gem! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, putting you at ease immediately. Dr. Ghorbani, the Oral Surgeon was excellent in his assessment. I later saw Dr. Luka, one of the Dentists, for a retainer which was made on the premise the same day. Both Doctors were very gentle with unlimited time and patience.Yesterday, Thursday, September 29, 2022 I had my teeth cleaned by Mel, one of the Hygienists here. She was meticulous and did a wonderful job. I was amazed when I came home and examined my teeth in the mirror. They are the cleanest that I’ve seen them in many, many years. Well done Mel, I can see that you take pleasure in doing your job to perfection! Thank you, Mel! Thanks also to Dr. Luka for his proficient overall examination and assessment! What a Team!

I get very nervous when I go to the dentist but here at Sheppard Dental they really take the time to put me at ease. The staff is caring and friendly which makes me feel like I’m in good and capable hands. Yesterday I got all my wisdom teeth removed, and it went very well. My nurse held my hand for a moment and said that I have the best doctor. This really put me at ease. My recovery is going very well.Consider Sheppard Village Dental for your family’s dental needs, I sure am happy that I found this place after moving to Scarborough a year ago. I’m going to Sheppard village dental since 2018. They are very professional and always do great job. Dr. Z and Dr. Brach are very professional and do great job.When I went their first time, lisa provided me all the information how they will proceed. She created my profile and then took x-rays. Then I have done some fillings and root canal on one teeth. I also go for routine cleaning after every 4 months. Mel is experienced hygienist and always clean my teeth effectively.Their staff is down to earth and whole team is always welcoming with friendly atmosphere. I’m thankful to all of you!!
