Really friendly service and convenient when she is running.Altough I wouldn't blindly depend on it because sometimes it's not running late and there is no way to know if you're going to be able to get a cab later at night.Be safe, call ahead

The reviews are correct - save your time and take Whistle!We used Ucluelet Taxi to go to the Tofino airport. Upon being picked up and putting our luggage in we were asked by the very cross female driver if we had cash - to which we said no (we were not told it was cash only). We asked if there was an atm at the airport, the lady yelled at us to close the car door and said she was taking us to the nearest ATM.Her driving was terrible - she passed multiple times in dangerous spots (with close oncoming traffic), tailgated any car in front of her, and was very likely speeding but hard to tell as her odometer was covered by books on her dash.Upon drop off she never gave the amount or said anything to us. Honestly, spending an extra $25 to take Whistle! would have been worth it as we did that at the start of our trip and our driver was so lovely.I am sure if she showed an ounce of kindness, the company rating would be above a 2 star.

The driver of a Ucluelet Taxi sped up as we tried to cross the COOP parking lot holding our baby. When we called to file a complaint we were hung up on twice before we could share what had happened. Highly disappointed in this service. Would recommend using Whistle if you need to catch a ride in Ukee/Tofino.

The woman that works here is soo dirty and absolutely rude, ignorant and just down right mean! Its really too bad that there's no other option. I got her to give me a ride from the hotel with all my luggage to the bus depot and all she did the entire time was complain and insult me. Telling me I was ridiculous and stupid for having soo many bags ( I have 4 suitcases on wheels and did tell her I was in the process of moving out of province) . If you can avoid this woman and her insanely disgusting body odor and lousy customer service...DO IT!

The taxi driver was awesome!! Very pleasant lady. She recommended us Florence Beach and we walked 2.5 km to wickaninnish beach best experience ever thanks to ucululet taxi driver.

Really unfortunate she is the only taxi in Ucluelet. The town is great and food is amazing but I would not recommend taking her taxi.The first night she drove us was fine, no complaints, but the second night, she got very angry for having to wait “20 minutes” for us upon pick-up. When we called, she said she would be 20-25 mins and it had been 30 mins from the time we called her to the time we looked outside if she was there. She never called when she arrived and as we looked outside, she called us. We apologized as we did not know she was waiting. However, she could have only been waiting 5-10 mins based on her arrival time, not 20 like she said. She complained how her phone bill is $300 a month and she cannot afford to call everyone she picks up that she has arrived. If she told us she would not call upon arrival, we would have waited outside. We tried to pay her extra for the trip as an apology, especially since we knew she’d have to pick us up again later, but she just threw the money back at us. We tried to give it back and apologize again but all she said was “I’ll drive you home later”. Extremely disrespectful

I had an appointment and they didn't show up! When I called she didn't pick up at first and when she finally did she shouted at me (!) and asked me why I am calling three times, when I mentioned the appointment she hung up. She left me standing with my infant daughter. Don't ever use it!

Was driving from Tofino to Ucluelet and the driver was tailgating me the whole way. I pulled into the gas station in Ucluelet and the female driver honked at me and called me studid. I told her that I am not from Ucluelet or tofino and that I was sorry for driving slow. She told me to get out of her city and go back home. Sooo rude!!. Just trying to enjoy and bring tourist money back to small communities.

it was our first time in town and i can’t believe this happened She was very rude over the phone yelled at me and was making fun of my boyfriend and would not let me get a cab worst service i’ve ever used

It was raining. We had a lot of luggage. So we had no choice but to dial a taxi for the short distance of less than a kilometer from our hotel to the VI Connector bus stand near the aquarium. At first the lady driver was surprised, but then she understood our predicament. She was quite helpful in loading our luggage and dropping us close to the bus stand shed so we did not get wet.
